I don’t understand why eu players play like bots? For three years I’ve been seeing the same thing in every Alterac valley! you’re like a bunch of bots, doing the same thing over and over again, running to the SLAUGHTER like pigs.
it was possible to come up with tactics a long time ago. but you are all the time and with the same result …
funny
probably Blizzard it’s time to release a school manual for eu players
russia is one country with one language…eu is alot of countrys with diferent languages
for you its eazyer to cordinate your 40man raid.
Thats why you dont see tacts in eu players 90% of the time
Good one. You’re funny.
these are made-up restrictions. and you know about it!
how then do your players go on a raid? how do you perceive the rl commands in the dungeon without knowing the language?
how do you communicate in a general chat? LOL
ok then russians are the best and they control the world lol
if you think that Russians play alterac only with discord, you are mistaken. personally, as a pvp leader on bg, it’s enough for me / rw and a couple of commands.
def
attack
the main thing in my business is to notify the raid about further actions in time. and you don’t need to know Russian for this.
all your whining and restrictions, invented by you! THERE ARE NO RESTRICTIONS. YOU JUST DON’T WANT TO PLAY WAR. ADMIT IT AND LEAVE THE RUSSIANS ALONE.
We never said you need to be mathimatician to win Av.
but those small commands are enough to take you a long way
and the Eu player base dont care about that
++ this post is not about the rus&eu play bgs its about eu ppl leave the bg when they see russ.
me being from greece have zero in common with sweedish ppl lets say
so we dont care to communicate and its not a bash to sweedish but it is what it is
Eu players don’t want to play together.
solve this problem yourself. don’t get involved with the Russians. we are an evil people.
Having the favor of a chad president like MR.Putin is a blessing
the dude rides polar bears what els you can say about this MAN
It is because EU players seem to value quick honor more than a win whereas russian people seem to value win over quick honor. By playing a def game the honor per hour surely drops down as the games get longer and so do the ques.
One might even describe the situation as EU players just wanting to be done with the mandatory bg grind in order to for example tryhard in arenas, which is the actual competitive pvp object in TBC. Russians on the other hand maybe dont do so well in arenas or somehow dont care about the main pvp objective of the xpac so they rely on getting their wins at a bg in which the wins dont really reward you a damn thing in the very end
Who is having more fun? Hard to say. Who is focusing on the most game rewarding things? EU, definitely EU.
your math is weird. you get a lot less honor per hour than the Russians. the average player from Russia needs 4-5 hours a day to receive 8 000 - 10 000 Honor. on average, we play 2.5 games per hour where for 1 game we get 800 honor.
800×2.5 = 2000 honor per hour
2000 × 4 hours (average gaming session) = 8,000 honor
according to my observations, the average EU player receives no more than 100 honor.
100x2.5= 250 honor per hour
250x4 = 1000 honor per game session.

Biggest problem in my opinion:
bg starts. People see russians. At least 10 instantly /afk. From the remaining 30, 15 are still undecided if they rather /afk or just afk in the starting area. Rest rides into their misery.
I think the mindset of russians is different. They want to win. Most of the other people just want fast honor and in AV, it actually doesn’t matter if you win or lose since honor is mostly equal in a rush vs rush bg or can also be higher even tho you lost.
Personally, I’m tired of farming honor. I also play Shadowlands and having to spam bgs in SL and in TBC is no fun. At some point the fun in bgs turned into work to be competitive.
Oh damn you cracked our big secret of letting russians focus on good bg honor while EU players steal the arena titles from them! Gosh darnit! Youve been played like the fools you are for all this time! Now lets just hope I can finish this comment before they come for m…
For me a game takes 10mins average (incl. the waiting time in the starting area). On average I get between 400 and 500 honor. As alliance, I have queues below 1min.
Lets say I do 5 AVs an hour. And lets say its going bad. I get 400x5 honor = 2k honor per hour.
Yes, there can be games where I only get 350 honor, and there can be games where i get 670 honor.
edit: I’m talking about AV weekend, not regular AV
You get that honor on AV weekend. You get less during regular weeks. That’s when Russian turtle yields more hph than rush Drek strategies.
So, our fellow Ruskis get hph similar to EU’s during AV weekend, and better hph during regular weeks. Why change to rush strategies then?
This is classic prisoners dilemma. If everyone were to rush, everyone would get okay amount of honor.
Now if a small capable and dedicated party goes on and makes a defensive strat (without impacting ques as theyre a small part of the pool) then they would occasionally get more honor in a scenario where the enemy players dont respond to their tactic making it less lucrative to do defensive strat by the small party.
Now if everyone switched to this defensive strategy it would increase que times and ultimately reduce hph for everyone, including the small stubborn party.
Conclusion: the small stubborn party is a scumbag group going for self interest while pooping on the common goal of having everyone get good honor. Of course you cant assume your opponent to be friendly towards you, but if everyone were as stupid/scumbag then nobody would be netting even the honor which comes from both parties rushing.
My advice to EU players: keep the rush meta to keep your ques fast and honor good and when facing russian players switch strategy to more defensive approach to get the max honor gains out of that game too.
Yes Yes Yes! be sure to keep playing your meta) you only contribute to more honor per hour for Russian players.
thanks ey player for following the wrong meta😁 big Russian thanks
