Rustbolt guards are useless?

So a player can actually come and kill you while you’re in the major hub in Mechagon. Guards either do nothing or they hit like a wet noodle to the point where even a DK with no mobility can outrun them. Whats the point anyway?

Also, what is the point of sharding if there are 6 horde players vs 30 alliance players in a zone?

Fun fact, if someone attack you the resisstance will help him kill you then dissappear most of the time

10/10 defence

Hahaha, perfect defence indeed.

Complained about this some months ago, people just told me ‘‘dont play warmode then’’ ‘‘playerbase should be defence tbh’’ ect

and now im not in warmode due to every wq being camped :joy:

I’m not against this to be honest, I’m not even against rustbolt being camped by huge number of players. It’s understandable. What I don’t understand is, why the guards are either so useless or buggy.

I’ll play warmode anyways, just want to see more reasonable ‘‘guards’’

Guards work when I am attacking. Try attacking a player and see if still a problem.

It’s not that they are not attacking, it’s that their attack is useless. No threat at all. Maybe the net is kinda bothersome but they don’t prevent even a single player from ganking inside Rustbolt.

I don’t think any guards do insane damage anywhere in wow. In fact I’d say the Rustbolt guards are more of a handful because they root like the Booty Bay bruisers.

One or two guards maybe not so bad, but I tend to have what seems like 10+ on me and they wear my spongy Feral down! Unless I do a good jump into the instance!

The guards are a deterrent. The design is to allow WPvP to happen, which it should, but to limit it by putting players off doing it. So the player gets an actions versus consequences situation, fun!

Honestly, I’m not sure if blizzard changed something with sharing but I’m being constantly sprung between different realms. Right outside Mechagon I see ~10 horde camp alliance. Kill a few and then dive into and out of Mechagon dungeon to reset their threat on the guards. The guards are useless. Why not just make Mechagon a small shrine (or whatever its called) like at the chamber of the heart, shattrath, dalaran etc??

There are no realms in WM.

Why do you want to be safe in WM?

I meant it for nazjatar, flying around during the pvp event it would randomly change me to different realms /shards/ whatever they call it these days. Which meant at one flag alliance could be losing badly and the next we would be trashing the horde…

As for the shrine, I just want to be able to COLLECT my daily quests in peace.

Oh, that’s odd, never experienced that. In fact, since start of bfa, I don’t remember ever involuntarily being shunted to another shard. I’ve seen enemy groups disappear, but that’s prob just them disbanding.

That’s a wm off situation then.
