S2 warlock set is a complete joke

the proc actually does 120k dmg on single target and its barely better against multiple targets and it never even procs. who thought thats a good idea? and the 4set is just as bad because it literally does the exact same thing as the talent we take anyway (at 70% effectiveness) but for only 10 sec when it procs… you dont even have to buff it but what irritates me is the garbage proc chance. if it procced more often but did less damage atleast it would actually have some flavour to the set bonuses.

comparing this to my balance druid the wild mushroom proc occurs much more frequently, does 500-800k AOE dmg, gives astral power and slows victims by 50% for 10 sec just with the 2set bonus

and none of this even takes into consideration how much we’re defanging ourselves as squishy warlocks by favouring the secondary dmg stats of set pieces over the regular pvp gear with much needed versatility

happens every season and they have never reworked a set after launch or buffed it enough to be worthwhile, especially just for pvp. be happy that its 120k dmg. often times the healer sets are for literally unused abilities like healing rain or essence font.

I assume you’re talking about demo and maybe destro…? Affli set is completely bonkers.

Always the same, some class win some don’t.

The sp one rarely proc as well, even in rbg.
Wizk said it’s probably better to run no set at all for bis stats instead.

Sad, the 4-set looks good on paper, especially compared to the trash set of s1. But if it never procs, what’s the point (haven’t tested it myself yet)…

And yea the stats on the set pieces are worse than normal now for some reason, so wouldn’t surprise if we don’t use 2-set even.

Affli and destro are more then good. But at least for destro it’s not because of the set. For demo the set is complete garbage, the dreads do like negative damage. It’s not even “a nice bonus”, the damage is generally not there for demo. :joy:

I need to read what it does on demo but if a demo main says its bad ser it this way u can only use 2 set and get 2 versa items more ?

Someone gonna tell him, that close to every 2p/4p class set is trash with maybe a few expections, and only adds maybe 2-4% dmg increase at max :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

i mean yeah, but most likely it wasnt more than a 2-4% dmg increase the tww set´s looking boring to me so far with a few exceptions

destro set pieces is complete trash for pvp

you dont play it in pvp

game designers failed super hard with this one

Wrong. The 2 set is bad, yeah, but the 4set is ok.

wow pvp sets have never been this bad before

take a look at prior expansion pvp sets

now its literally just a rehash of pve set bonuses. whether that pve set bonus actually translates well over to pvp is completely hit or miss and inexcusable. please take me back to wrath where you got to use actual pve gear at the expense of resilience. not this RNG half in half out it might be good it might not be cr4p

this pvp literally balanced completely around keystones and mythic raiding. ive already quit retail
