Why do you assume it will be a paid service? Make it only horde to ally, a one in a lifetime purchase and you wont have the problem rerail has where ppl switch faction willy and nilly?
Faction change is a great solution just like paid and free transfers were when pve andies in classic complained about pvp on pvp servers when it took them an hour to get to brm. Dont like queues? Just effin transfer and stop complaining.
And who of the Horde would do that to be ganked 24/7 or go to PvE realm to avoid being ganked by ex friends? Faction change will affect faction balance on defining scale only in 3 scenarios:
A: Racials will be disabled in BGs and Arenas. Not good. Neither Alliance nor Horde would be pleased about it.
B. Giving opposing faction mirror racials, like Humans that would have perception and WOTF like ability, but using one will put another on itâs cooldownd. Or Orcs having Blood Fury and Perception, again using BF would put Perception on cool down. (I have a topic about that). Meta changing. Horde not happy that they would play on equal terms and are gatekeeping.
C: Wait till Wrath and Humans buff. Blizzard way. Meta slaves happy. Horde leaving TBC PvP in masses.
Sure they can do A and B, I donât really care. What is bothering me is that there is a player made issue that can be solved by players changing faction by rerolling or hopefully in the future faction change. If ppl still stay on horde they have no right to complain about queues.

yeah because throwing away everything you built over the past year and a half in order to get better queue times in bg is a realistic and easy choice to (be forced to) make.

Its a good idea but because Alliance got corpsecamped in phase 2 Classic they will fight for their life for idea like that not implemented.
Would actually be so hilarious (would never happen but still) if Blizz would split arenas for own faction only. So Alliance players would fight each other with full resilience gear and horde just zugzug eachother with PVE gear.
interesting. maybe the alliance players specifically oppose same faction bgâs knowing full well that they will have a strong advantage in arena due to their massive resilience bonuses compared to the horde teams they would be facing.

First of all, the change came after 1.5y, horde change needed few weeks, and classic tbc has everything but few things pointed out by community in its 2.4.3 state, same as av, its nothing rare the whole game works on same patch as av, it had nothing to do with cry
And if you truly think that the av fix would be fine now, then fixing ques is fine in wotlk
People who blame racials have limited pvp knowledge.
Old Method players (aknowledge the old refference there) would confirm that easily and so would their acomplishments on the alliance side.
Well, peole are claiming that on classic ally is king by far, but in vanilla nihilium were the kings, vanilla nbers really often doesnt mean that much
Also every single raid on tbc was first cleared by horde. Or if you are talking about pvp, did method actually had some good pvp in tbc? I have no idea
