Hello. Me and my spouse decided to play two BM hunters. We both love running m+ together - will we have much trouble joining high keys (19-20) if we play same specs? Will it cripple key run?
No it won’t cripple a key run, but given the choice most people would prefer a bit of diversity for buffs / utility.

What is “adequate”? Dps with equal or better rio will be plentiful.
2 hunters the thought process will be “decent dps, brings lust…” thats about it.
Now you have a smaller list from which to get other nice stuff. I’m not justifying it, any competent person can time a 20, I’m just saying you’re putting yourselves at a disadvantage because thats how people evaluate you in a queue.
Like Dejarous suggests, when I see two hunters together (BM or not) I will just start thinking of all the things I won’t get if I invite you both. Oh, that second hunter could be a warlock and we’d get combat rez, healthstones, gateway…
And mind you, there is no DPS class that I won’t feel this way about. I wouldn’t want two warlocks either.

Different specs won’t make a difference.
People bring characters for m+ for 2 reason:
- Output
- Utiliy
The different hunter specs bring the same utility. Yes, maybe surv has better interrupt or some stuff, but that’s not really a bug deal.
There will be groups that won’t take you because of your class, because they want mass stuns or combat ress or mark of the wild or smth.
But you’ll be fine. There will be enough groups that wouldn’t mindd doubling up on hunters, especially BM
Anything is fine for 20s tbh but if you are asking if your comp is optimal or not the answer is no.
If you wanna feel better about yourself i am getting like 1 invite per 2 hours when i try to do a weekly 20 from the same dungeons i already timed 25-26 version of it. At least you are not playing a warrior lol. My 474 ilvl alt dh almost gets insta invites with half of the rio.
For 19-20 it wont cripple your run that much, if you invite the utility you need in the remaining slots.
BUT you will have troubles getting invites. Class stacking is not something people consider to do especially on a class like hunter.
So if you wanna play like that you have to form your own groups. Otherwise you should not bother trying since you wont get invites
yes you will have problems joining keys but if you push your own keys 2 hunters is certainly more the doable.
you will see people complaining though because its not optimal .
Two good BM hunters would absolutely melt trash etc, damage could be insane, but as mentioned there’s very little utility, so it would require a strong setup for the other 3 classes
Yes, you will have problems joining keys, because there is no benefits from 2 bm hunters. If you want to get invites, one should heal or tank. It is hard to join keys as dps at all times in +20
yes, unless you will try to join +11 with 2.5k
Maybe try joining some communities instead of relying on pugs? Would probably be easier to play together like that. I dont know what the current recommended communities are but im sure someone else can help with that.

Well it’s not good to have 2 of the same classes in M+
Two that I can recommend are “Chill Streak” and “No Pressure”, both on Discord.

2 bm hunters can easily do a key but you wont get many invites unfortunately in this game.
Youd be better off listing your own keys wanting to go doublr hunter. Its rare that people double up on the same role.
I see others have mentioned communities.
