Please give us another way to gather Sanctified gear before entering Naxx that is less frustrating and more predictable/rewarding than the current system.
With the Seal of the Dawn stacking so high, having 8/8 Sanctified gear for Naxx raids is a must - like it or not. Right now the only sources are Invasions for set gear, Argent Dawn rep quest, and Karazhan.
So the set is not the biggest problem. Farm some invasions for chest, buy gloves with the necrotic runes and get bracers off the auction house if unlucky. The problem is getting the offset items and specifically the Karazhan items.
Every class needs at least 2 to 3 items from that dungeon and stuff “never drops”. The other problem with the items is that all items have different classes needing them for their Sanctified set. For example, most casters whether dps or healer need the healing necklace and belt, most physicals need the agility neck, etc. Competition on loot isn’t bad per se, but when that item is your only option and has a one day lockout it becomes a problem.
People form groups with minimum competition on their items and thus excluding people making it hard to find/form a group. Then you somehow decided to make the necklace drop from a set of bosses, each who drop their respective necklaces and make us able to only choose to kill one of these bosses per day - meaning joining a group doesn’t necessarily mean you have a chance of getting your necklace if the group isn’t freeing your boss from prison. So that means you have to be specific what groups to join that will kill your boss - making it even harder to join/form groups!
All this design makes getting your pre-bis for Naxx raids - and 8/8 Sanctified is now a requirement for most PUGs, so it’s not some sweaty pre-bis list only hardcore folk will try to complete - frustrating to say the least.
Finding or forming the group is rough, loot competition on already rare items is rough, the one day lockout is rough and Karazhan in itself is not a steamroll dungeon and will take a while to complete. Now consider the fact most people have alts and want to do Naxx on 2 or maybe 3 characters. This adds up to the Sanctified 8/8 being one of the most frustrating and most required pre-bis to gather on your character.
You have created a brand new dungeon with cool mechanics and the only thing your game current design is doing is burning people out on that cool dungeon, because they have to farm it so much.
Could you make Sanctified gear pre-Naxx also drop from other dungeons like Strat and Scholo and/or be purchasable for reals or runes?
