Saurfang's past crimes

Are we just going to forget all the times in vanilla when Ally priests mind controlled him and rampaged through Orgrimmar, cleaving his own people?

I don’t think Mind Control quite absolves him of this one.

Edit: Included a link to a classic video of him being MCed. Music is peak 00s WoW video. For those who aren’t familiar with Vanilla, health pools ranged from 2k for newly dinged 60 mages, to 5-6k+ for tanks. So the numbers Saurfang is pulling are pretty tasty.

What a wonderful idea!

So each and every one of the Forsaken is guilty of every monstrous act they committed under the Lich King’s control!

All orcs are guilty of everything they have done under the control of demonic blood!

YEEEEEEEEES!!!

We can finally demand that forsaken and orcs are brought to justice for all their acts!

No more “we were mind controlled!”/“we were corrupted excuses!”.

I ADORE YOUR IDEA

Can we persecute the draenei for crashing an entire spaceship into the titan Azeroth?

Hahaha, NO! We can’t because Exodar crashed due to BLOOD ELVES destroying the engines!!!

Blame your fairy friends for that xD

God, I love this thread

So technically we can blame the night elves as well because they are the leading cause for the blood elves to be a thing and destroy those engines thus crashing it into azeroth.

How about all the damage Deathwing did… Who do I blame for all the burnt goblins on Kezan?

Even if its a Troll Thread. All leaders of the Borde & the Alliance should remember again, that they where killed a long time ago.

Nobody cares about some workers of Gallywix. Not even Gallywix himself.

So, we can in turn blame the Trolls because Nelves were once Trolls, so it is all the Troll’s fault. Great thinking.

So we can blame the titans, because they created the well of eternity?

It’s why I invited you, and you did not disappoint.

I don’t think you’re completely innocent for killing countless of innocents during the Third War, you Scourge fiend.

EDIT

I propose that we blame the Light, because it created the universe.

Yes and they also created the dragon aspects which in turn caused the death of all those innocent goblins on Kezan. I think we ought to crusade against the titans in the next expansion. Sargeras was right all along.

Anything for my hoofed friend

Bro/sis hoof! :ox: :goat:

Not they, the Titankeeper.

It’s funny how he’s regarded as a very honorable character in the story, yet he’s participated in all the evil-doings of the past, which is not very honorable at all.

Never really understood why he’s regarded as being particularly honorable.

Because he see himself as “influenced by the blood curse”.

Did it though? What if it was there before, but it was TOO DARK to see it?! :open_mouth:

I don’t see what you’re trying to say.

This Video explain it:

No, it doesn’t. It shows atonement for past sins and a change of morality.

But that doesn’t excuse past deeds. At least not by real-life standards.

If you participate in a war and you commit a lot of war crimes – like killing innocent civilians and children – then it’s irrelevant if you later realize the error of your ways. What’s done is done, and in the court of law you would be charged and found guilty of war crimes.

No one’s excused for their crimes just because they realize the error of their ways.

“Yeah your honor, I know I killed this innocent child, but I have since come to realize that it was a mistake and I shouldn’t have done it.”
“That’s very honorable of you. You’re now a hero and free to go!”

No. That’s not how it works.
