Why should they change it in size? It is a starter zone for a core race. It doesn’t need to be as big as endgame content. Also the scaling would be off if the rest of the EK stays the same size.

Hell, even Golden’s self inserted Human Warlock in the Garrosh-Trial book made more sense than Knaak’s self inserted 3 weirdos.

Idk how people get into race lore to such a degree. Imo all races in warcraft have either bad lore or have had their stories ruined over time. In all honestly If I was to ever start RP-ing I would RP as my class and not my race.

To be honest, it baffles me with such emotional attachment as well.
I mean, I’ve wanted playable High Elves ever since WoTLK and then in MoP, because I felt the Alliance narrative in 5.1 and 5.2 was a half-service, since half the Alliance involvement came in the form of a race you couldn’t play, whereas the Horde got the Blood Elves
But I wouldn’t get some emotionally attached to the High Elves where I pretend to be one of the forums. That’s just silly.
And I’ve always wanted playable High Elves to come in, but not at the expense of the Blood Elves. High Elves must be an independent race with their own nation and story.
