Blizzard broke with tolkiens story and inspired ever other franchises that have elves.
They should fix it then, because the story has sucked for quite some time.
Also Tolkiens orcs are corrupted elves, so yes you heard it here folks LoTR does have evil elves.
I think the best “evil Elves” from WoW come in the form of either San’layn or Naga.
Making elves not friends of humans and Orcs not evil by default were the best decisions they pulled so far.

What do you mean my guy, the orcs were evil by default. Like the Frostwolves were one of the few “pieceful” clans, the rest were just warmongers fighting amongs each other, and that was before the demon juice.

They were not evil they fought for survival. Making Eredar playable makes much less sense. They kept the peace for 200 years despite the Draenei being aliens.

Soooo instead of banding together to overcome said things that wanted to kill them, they instead opted for killing each other, but when they got bamboozled into wiping out the Draenei they somehow managed to band together. See what I mean when I say most races have garbage lore.

More or less yes. There is also the headcannon and the selfcontradicting stance but those are really hard to explain properly without a full rundown of the Erevien lore.

Orc unity was great but Thrall broke it.
Blood elves are great just their lore is lacking.
And that is always the case. Blizzard loves exluding the Horde for years but it is never the reverse situation.
