is that why the alliance elves keep crap talking me whenever they get the chances?
Cult of Forgotten Shadows? Shadowmoon Clan?
Orcs waged war due to demon blood influence. Garithos tried to kill all elves because he was a racist.

Both less qualified then the elves that are infused by void since they study Shadowmagic as a whole and not specifically void energy
“but luzy look these elves are evil cause they are mad cause they got exiled.”
You would be mad too if you got exiled over differing political views
They didn’t get exiled. This guy left on his own as his own choice of words cuz he couldn’t bear being part of the Horde. Lor’themar had a tough time in control to keep Silvermoon standing so potential unrest was quelled by the Magisters. His companion is even more top on the nose with the actual reason they joined in with the void elves. And the way it is sounding they might become villains after going over the edge.
I see what you mean yeah, and I do absolutely imagine that the first forsaken to talk to a blood elf would’ve caused a heart attack, as would the first troll interacting (non violently) with a blood elf, but there’s also the other sides to the forsaken, as well as the darkspear for the troll arguement.
And I’m sure that at the start of it all, a zombie is a zombie is a zombie, but eventually the elves would’ve noticed that these forsaken zombies showed signs of intelligence and extreme prejudice towards confirmed scourge targets and talks likely would’ve started there.
And later on, a troll is a troll is a troll, but they were still horde and as the Amani are rising in Zul’aman, the darkspear leader and his troops are there at Zul’amans entrance ready to put the Amani down (at the very least in the cata dungeon version, I don’t remember if it was true for the raid but I do recall that gong to start it so I think they were there as early as ZA in TBC)
There are a lot of those little moments in the lore that would’ve strengthened the ties of the races within the horde as well as add context to the races of the horde and insight in eachothers ways and how the races of the horde are not the same as similar races outside of the horde.
Forsaken were quite literally the biggest guns in exterminating the Scourge in both Lordaeron and Northrend. That is all the proof I need to see they are on our side.
Not what I was really referring to. More when Illidan offered him power to become his stooge. The idea that he’d accept Kil’jaedens offer when Illidan wasn’t doing exactly what he wanted really was no surprise to me at least. Very in his characters wheelhouse.
Regardless of your opinion on the “good” or “bad” of any of WoW’s story, it is still WoW’s story. Pretending that something else is true just to fluff your own ego and wishes doesn’t change what is.
Kael’thas traded his people for power, he never got actually redeemed and hes a terrible leader.
And nothing hinted he would make the heelturn ever.
It isn’t. There wasn’t any lore reason why Kael would side with the Legion when he was aware they were the cause of all his problems. Are you srsly defending Blizzard here?
Cause it wasn’t a heel-turn. It was a progression of who he was and was showing himself to be. You’re just blind.
Not sure defending Blizzard is correct. I’m pointing out the reality is, whether or not you agree with the story, it is still the actual story. Your headcanon doesn’t change any of that.
Illidan specifically promised him a way to feed or in some capacity remove the need to worry about the addiction of his people if I recall the campaign correctly (recently replayed it)
They recently added a book that goes into the gap of KT and Illidan “liberating” outland and KT showing up as a villain in TBC, its quite tragic as things tend to be with the blood elves, but the OG campaign combined with recent 3d party (I normally dislike book lore cause I think it should be in the game but this is pretty big if you want to understand KT’s reasonings for doing what he did). All of it, and I mean ALL of it, was done with the intend to either find a cure or a silencer to the addiction his people suffered from.
Unfortionately, when he saw the Illidari channel fel, he figured wait why aren’t we doing that, then he did that and he got corrupted as a result and became the man we know from TBC’s raid and dungeon.
Fel is very corruptive, once you’ve tasted its power, its strongly implied you always want more and are very unlikely to go back to anything else, you might even become a bad guy.
The exact way how Kael turned evil was never explained at all which is why many fans felt his turn to end up as dungeon boss was undeserved.
