Twilight’s Hammer (Emeriss etc.) was one of the realms that needed server-merge prior to Shadowlands. Now the server is so dead that we can no longer find legendary base crafters. Heck, there are so little mats on AH that even buying everything out of it, won’t be enough to skill up to max rank.
Raiding (Mythic) is dead here since BFA, so I’ll skip that part.
I’m buying tons of WoW tokens so I can get what little lefts on our AH. Sure I can move my 24 alts out of here. But it won’t slove the problem for remaining folks (including my guild mates).
You’ve forgot about us in pre-Shadowlands merging. Now, please do something about this! We can PvP & do lower tier raiding cross-realm, but making crafting a server-wide event? Blizzard wake up!
Sadly your realm isn’t the only one that’s suffering under the current draught. A lot of low population realms are facing a similar issue. It just sucks.
I’m also part of the problem as I’ve somewhat recently decided to transfer off the server (the prices for consumables were just not viable anymore). It was not a huge issue for me as I only really use 1 character, but it feels like I’m encouraging Blizzard to actually not merge realms, by paying them money for what should honestly be their job.
People shouldn’t have to pay extra money to switch off of dead realms due to players leaving/transferring. That’s definitely Blizzards job to care about that.
At this point I honestly feel like the whole realm concept might be a little outdated. Most activities are cross realm anyway and outside of SL areas you’re often phased in with other realms anyway. Maybe it’s time to merge all the realms auction houses into one and make the realms share all areas.
Reroll on Draenor, blizzard wont do anything. They prefer you to pay your way out of this… don’t. If you reroll on Draenor let me know (horde) and I’ll try to help you out a bit
This last 4 weeks with mage tower really showed me the state of the auction house. The last week i’ve checked the ah several times daily for war-scrolls of intellect and there has been a total of 4 of them….
Also didnt find the leggo base item i wanted for my boomie a few months back either.
Im surrounded by silvermoon players when i visit stormwind, but the auction house is still only for chamber of aspects. Blizz really needs to find a solution for this.
On TH I couldn’t even get the R4 lego base (235) for alts. Had to check both Horde and Alliance guilds, look after alts / mains of crafters, then send them mails asking if they could log and craft item on that dead realm. This is insane. Have 24 alts (one of each class for each faction), doing mainly PVP, but when it comes to crafting, the only option I have left, is to roll mining etc. on alts and farm for weeks on my own…
Server transferring doesn’t solve the issue. Like I said same thing is happening on all the big realms aswel.
I got alts on tarren mill silvermoon , draenor , argent dawn. There is far less players playing right now. They all feel quieter. But there is just enough to make it feel like the world is full.
TWH is very much a patch orientated realm. Look at the PVE clears all done within the space of the first 4 -5 months of the patch. Then you see numbers dwindle again.
Also the majority of the players are “casuals” and Shadowlands has done an amazing job and convincing the majority of the player base it’s not worth their time.
According to wowprogress raiding is pretty much dead here, true. But the main point is that the realm is so dead, that even getting items from AH / crafters for region-wide activities (PvP / M+) is impossible.
