Scarlet Brotherhood as possible allies?

Okay, so before you start telling me how wrong this is, just hear me out.
So, it’s been awhile since we have found the pages that told us of the so called “Scarlet Brotherhood”. With the stuff going on in Shadowlands, I think it would be a great time to do another revamp for Azeroth with a nice time skip which could move the factions within the world too. And that would be a perfect time for their return.
We know that the Scourge invasion had a great impact, just like we see with Lakeshire which is now probably lost. Even though the major threat was dealt with, some zones could have become filled with the undead. The place that was the hardest to clean of the plague, the Plaguelands, could become the primary undead zone again. The masses of undead would have been so overwhelming that the Argent Crusade was pushed out of the lands except their primary points; Hearthglen and Light’s Hope. The Brotherhood could also seek a place to have their main base at, which would be a reclaimed Tyr’s Hand along with the nearby New Avalon and Havenshire.
And now for what the title suggests:
Since the Crusade suffered many blows in the past, they need new recruits. To achieve this they had to play a less hostile faction. And since the Argent Crusade would require all aid they could get, they would have to agree to tolerate the Brotherhood.
Just like back in Classic, an item that would make you friendly with the faction could be made. This would be an amazing time to implement the Crimson Legion tabards which crusader roleplayers (and some others too) have sought for awhile. That would be available for Alliance characters, making them friendly to the faction and access a new city which could be filled with various vendors, trainers and other characters which could provide Scarlet themed items and plans, such as the “bishop hats” that we saw the Scarlet preachers or High Abbot Landgren use back in WotLK.
Technically this faction could also have their own questlines, having you help them out, though this may be a bit too much work for Blizzard.

I’d like things like this to get implemented all over Azeroth, making the world feel more alive and letting us get to know these previously only hostile factions better.

Even though this is probably far from something we could expect, I thought the idea seemed cool.
So what do you people think? Is this something you’d also like to see or am I completely out of my mind?

you can’t ally with the dead their gone just like the defias brotherhood until blizz says otherwise they was killed of by the ebon blade

Pretty convincing. Hostile factions aren’t set in stone, I mean the Bloodsail Buccaneers and even the Defias Brotherhood are our allies now, through the Uncrowned. I’ve always been curious about the Syndicate too.

The Scourge-related casualties definitely could bring the Scarlet guys to play some role

Actually Blizzard themselves have told us of their existence. There have been specific pamphlets located in Tirisfal Glades after the Battle for Lordaeron Capital. Try searching it up, please ^^

and they was never referenced again safe to say their dead

Well, things like this may take time. A nearly defeated faction would probably need the timeskip to rise back in power, but I really do see it as a possibility. Also back in Legion we found out about more Scarlets in two places while only one was truly dealt with. Also based on the research I made, the Raven Conclave should still be active lorewise with Archbishop Trianna (don’t remember last name sadly) as their leader.

the problem is that all the scarlet’s power structure no longer behold to them they have nothing

the silverhand / argent crusade has taken back all the stuff that originally belong to them but was stolen by this corrupted order and under the leadership of Highlord Turalyon the silverhand would just crush this upstarts

It’s Blizzard, things are dead until they’re not. It was officially said that the Shatterspear tribe disbanded following their leader’s death in Cata, then they magically came back in BfA in pretty strong numbers all over Darkshore. They just do what they want

That’s why I thought making them lose a good portion of their power through the undead would be ideal. And also to be honest, the Crusade has never been the same after the death of Highlord Tirion Fordring…

Tirion was actually a traitor and a orc lover Turalyon is the true heir of the Argent Crusade I’m sure the silverhand is glad to be lead by one of the 5 OG paladins and not a traitor who was kicked out of the order for his treason

Tirion Fordring was stripped of his title and kicked out of the Silverhand by Uther the Lightbringer for his crimes

I wouldn’t agree on this. Actually him seeing beyond something as simple as skin color and standing for the ideal is rather noble of him. That’s why he earned the orcs’ respect. But don’t forget he fought the Horde too during the Second war.

Yes, that is true, though at the same time this had been dealt with since his fight with Isilien in Classic. He restored his powers through his faith in the Holy Light and actually became so strong with it that he was able to purify the Ashbringer during the Battle for Light’s Hope.

any og paladin would have been able to purify the ashbringer his not special i’d argue out of the 5 his the weakest one

Saidan Dathrohan before he was killed and taken over by the dreadlord would most likely have completely stomped tirion

And how do you know that? From what I’ve read, it appeared more like Tirion was actually the one with the strongest connection to the Light out of the five.

Well, Saidan was the Grand Crusader, which just by the title suggests that he was rather battle-oriented. So yes, he probably might have, though sadly we have not gotten that much info about the power levels of the different paladins.

I assume the Scarlet Whatever will ally with Yrel and her over-zealous Light army from Draenor.
They’ll invade Azeroth, so we’ll have to defend our planet again from an invasion through the Dark Portal (maybe renamed the Light Portal?).

We’ll need to work with Void Elves to restore the balance of Light and Void.

Time for an Alliance Big Bad (after Garrosh and Sylvanos), probably High Exarch Turalyon who will have taken over Stormwind in the name of the Light.

Oh the Scarlett Brotherhood are still very much around. Hints of their return were dropped in 8.3 in the form of propaganda found in Tirisfal Glades.

I’m all up for the return of the Scarlet Crusade… but they don’t necessarily need to be our allies.

i’m not denying that their “around” but their a faction with 0 power they might as well not a exist because they have no power base and with no power and no base basically you want the brotherhood to be anything capable you have to asspull again like so many other factions but i guess dauser being the hak writer he is would be able to do it

No you’re forgetting the virtues of being a real paladin. One of them is compassion.

compassion is a weakness born of ignorance about true justice

Justice is cold, it is indifferent it has to be for it to be fair

You Are not a real paladin. You’re a zealot a fanatic

The Scarlet Brotherhood is in the same situation as The Twilight Hammers clan - both might possibly still exist on Azeroth. It’s just that the story have been busy going everywhere else.

Personally I am rooting for The Twilight Hammers as a new secondary all-race faction after a faction merge.
