Well there’s more to WoW than grinding rare mounts, so obviously therefore.
And the people who do grind these extremely rare mounts tend to perceive it as a one-time effort where the means justify the reward. I think that sentiment is shifting a bit as Blizzard have begun doing these rare mount grinds a bit more frequently, but nevertheless the mount collectors seem to endure them for the time being. In the long term there’s no doubt in my mind though that this does slowly sour people’s feelings toward the game, because these grinds do inevitably result in a negative experience for most players. They simply don’t get the rare mount in the end, even after spending an ungodly amount of time on it. And that’ll make anyone question why they’re even playing the game when it’s such an unrewarding experience.
Except people who want rare mounts aren’t complaining. Just babies like you
Who’s the OP then?
And why resort to calling me a baby? Aren’t we having a respectful conversation?
Calling out an awful farm is not making someone a baby.
I’m into about 4 hours without even a spawn atm, add 1% drop rate to that
Takes forever to get a spawn and then the drop rate is super low. Just terrible.
I also think this event is too hard for many, im literally watching people not put out fires, squash the green stuff etc and just go full braindead and failing to get to 500 points with 4-5 people which is crazy !
Also 7 gold reward from chest? Rly… is that the best you can do blizz?..
The point was not to complain about “farming” and that I have to get everything on the first day. My problem was the idea that I spent over 30 hours seeing only about 15 spawns and 0 mount drops.
I am not complaining about the Darkfuse Rep farm which takes over 15 hours or anything else.
Somehow these people will protect Blizzard on every point for no reason. Either they are bots or don’t even play the game. Either way its funny that 2 days after making this post, blizzard did a complete 180 and fixed the event.
