Are there any other people out there that use the mouse to click the screen to cast there spells/ actions ? If there are do you have a problem with the new user interface action bars being over layered by achievement announcements etc that prevent you from clicking the screen until the box disappears and even more annoying the box reappears if you move your mouse over it too quickly. I have put in a suggestion to Blizzard to make the box moveable but wondered if anyone knows if there a solution already in game? if not please reply anyway, enough comments might get Blizzard attention.

I have noticed some issues with the strata of nameplates and other windows as well, figured it’s because of my addons.
Dominos lets you change the actionbar’s strata I think. This is what decides which window/frame/popup etc. will be on top when they overlap.
This has been a thing. I’ve seen BM hunters win arena games doing this, haha!

yup, that is annoying.
Also annoying is the bug whereby if you have a pet class then the pet bar kinda eats into your top action bar meaning you have to press the very bottom edge of it to get it to work.
This also annoys me + also the drop from mythic and raid where the game shows a drop window with nothing in it because it was counted three or more times at once. Thus one waits for it to disappear from the screen.
Hey thanks for the comments. Based on some of the things said above I searched curse for an appropriate addon and found EditModeExpanded. It does exactly what I wanted and more. It’s very good if you want a bit more from the new Blizzard ui

I am a screen clicker (didn’t even know that classification existed) and yes, the new user interface annoyed me while infight. That’s why I got ClassicUI addon. I highly recommend it.

I have noticed the issue where some spots on my bars don’t really interact on clicks. Luckily I am mostly using keys, and clicking only for stuff like mounts, toys, those 1hr buffs etc. But yeah, I did notice the issue!
I dont, but you can just disable the box or move it…?

I added an extra bar for few abilities with long CDs I dont really have spare hotkeys for (playing resto druid and having already exhausted all the combinations with ALT/ SHIFT/ CTRL wihin the reach of my left hand)
on other chars I tend to use it for group buffs, mass rez and food
try playing monk and typing out celestial ability names

I click icons but haven’t really noticed a problem with overlapping in most cases except when I realise I’ve put something in a stupid place. I still use Bartender rather than the default ui.
Yes, but the only stuff that I have in that specific area hidden by the box are out of combat stuff I use somewhat frequently (like Grand Expedition Yak). As I don’t get those notifications that often I don’t see it as a big deal.
