There was a point my laptop yielded to the Windows 11 install, and now I can’t seem to save my screenshots to the appropriate folder.
I have disabled avast ransomware which some said could be causing the issue.
I have checked OneDrive which is also said to have interfered but that has been turned off since I updated the computer and when I used it there’s no saved images in the cloud.
Nothing seems to work. I have searched through endless possible file locations and checked many forums, still nothing.
I changed the WoW screenshot button so it doesn’t conflict with the strange new Windows snipping tool screenshot, and still nothing.
In game it says the screenshot has been taken but its nowhere to be found.
Try to search for WoWScrnShot from your entire hard disk. It probably takes while.
Also, in the ages past if the game was saved under Program Files the settings etc. might have been saved under C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore so check there as well. AppData is hidden folder so either access the folder directly by typing it or enable option to show hidden files and folders.
Did both, none of them help. The entire hard disk search just shows the old screenshots before the update, while the VirtualStore folder is empty. Thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately none of them work.
