So it’s 1 PM which means it’s Orgrimmar spawn time, therefore gotta use one of my Horde alts. And OF COURSE the only rare drop in days is with this character, and it the one item that isn’t account-bound (the 36-slot bag). What a mockery.

Yeah, the 36 slot bag is gonna give you such an advantage. I would really consider making the horde ‘alt’ your new main. How can you even play with the 30 slot bags from AH for 100g? Almost impossible.

Congratulations for completely missing the point.
There are 3 items with low drop rates. The guitar toy, the mount and the bag. Out of the three, of course the bag is the only one I get, and even that is not on my main (who is the only character whose inventory ever gets filled).
The bag drops quite often for the first kill of the day, sometimes I have even seen on later kills as well. Good luck! 
I have it on two characters and I have given it away a couple of times to people who didn’t have it. Stay a bit longer after the kill, you may get lucky too and someone will give it away.

What point? Your point is ‘I didn’t get rewards, /cry’. First of all, it’s an optional event. Second of all, mount will be added to trading post, so don’t get upset if you won’t get it. Third of all, pet drops left and right. If you don’t get it, queue a grp, I’m sure someone will trade it to you. I’ve seen it happen 10 times already. Fourth of all, who cares about the bag? As said, the AH one with 30 slots work just fine. The 6 extra slots don’t mean anything. If they do to you, you must have issues.
All in all to TLDR it for you, it’s a pointless whine and a pointless thread.

So? Everything is optional in WoW. And most things are optional in life, in general.
Not confirmed. Datamining doesn’t mean anything, it was probably meant to be added with the Trading post and then Blizzard changed their mind when they came up with this event.

Yeah, because it works so well to fly into Orgrimmar, right? Very time-efficient.
In general, it’s amazing to see so many people defend this insane RNG based design that doesn’t respect the player’s time and effort.
Quite funny how so many people in this post miss the point and obsess over the bag and how much you want it when thats clearly not the case.

offer to swap the bag for one of the other account bound items. You might get a taker…
Lolol this is such a crapshow. Nobody seems to comprehend the OP’s first post.
Let me spell it out for you.
- OP wants tradeable rare items but isn’t getting lucky
- OP logs onto an alt and gets a rare item
- Unfortunately its the bag which THEY DO NOT WANT
- OP is sad and logs back on their main.
The point is, the one time a rare item does drop its BOP AND on the wrong character. That’s why OP thinks the event sucks.
You all need to READ better. Sheesh.

No you don’t.
1: Log horde alt to determine where the Portal spawn is.
2: Log over to Alliance main & head to that zone, flying high enough to avoid guard detection.
3: As soon as the Goblin spawns, swoop down & stealth (or just Cat Form if unable to stealth) just before hitting the ground.
4: Target Goblin & go ham on aoe to ensure getting a tag.
5: If you die & can’t loot the corpse, wait for postmaster to mail loot to you.

Secretly, there was another reason I opened this thread… to test if complaining on the forums still works to appease the RNG Gods. And apparently it does, I got the guitar.
I wish Blizzard confirmed the mount would be available later in the Trading post, because I don’t feel like farming this anymore.

i don’t see how is this funny for you guys, i mean, why it isn’t account bound, why don’t you question things for once before mocking people .
i’m SO TIRED of farming that stupid mount and since they did not confirm anything about trading post, i can’t stop farming it and doing other stuff.

I wish it worked that way.
I really hate this event at this point.
Ive done the event every day. My kills are in triple digits. All i need is the mount, but it just wont drop.
I am so tired and fed up of killing these goblins.
Got mine off the BMAH back in WoD. Also iirc there is a version that can be crafted by BS in Black Rock - but since Legion not sure if this is still the case. There is also the Arcanite Ripper from old Karazhan. Then there is Necromedes, the Death Resonator from Darkmoon.
