so for whatever reason the quest that gives you the scrying orb just is not working, it gives you a scrying orb that is consumed on use and SHOULD give you a buff to locate some treasure or whatnot but it gives me no buff so i cant finish the quest, ive tried logging out and in aswell as removing the quest and doing it again and fcking nothing helps
So you aren’t just given three or so, locations to open chests? It’s just an intro to teach you how the stones work.

Scrying Stone Button to appear for you. You will get a

nothing, the game is just not registrating that i use the stone in the first place. so im stuck on the “first” objective of that quest

It should give you an extra action button when you are close
You may need to seek assistance from a GM if you can’t get anything to work.
i have watched a video for the quest and the person i watched got a buff and that buff never appeared for me. the item is just not giving me the buff i need to locate the hidden magical chests. gonna try to sort this stuff out tomorow cuz its almost 2am here in sweden. (in the video linked he has a buff that looks like the stone and that is the buff that i am not getting)

It does sound like that’s the root of the problem.
