Scythe of the Unseen Path

Outside of the Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj stand 3 quest givers, all from the unseen path, giving quest rewards. One of these is the ‘Scythe of the Unseen Path’.
Ignoring the fact that it’s an axe without a handle and not a scythe at all, the item is a one handed axe, locked to hunters only.
This means that even if you did do the quest for the item, you wouldn’t be able to mog it onto your weapon in any of the 3 specs.

Since the item is hunter only, is there any way we would be able to get some method that would allow us to transmog this scythe (axe) onto our two handed weapons?

Back in classic hunters could use 1h weapons for dual wielding but unfortunately our class no longer allow this. So for now there is no way to use this mog on a hunter.

I do wonder if the name of the weapon spawned the class hall or the unseen path was already in lore somewhere.

Would be nice to mog into dual weapons again though in survival.

BC Zul’aman swords by my side along with a gun/Xbow on my back. Those were the days.
(Note: ranged weapons if I remember correctly weren’t actually visible on your back until when they first took away the option for hunters to use melee weapons with certain abilities).

All ranged weapons were visible as well as your melee weapons.

BUT all ranged weapons could not be used in melee range thus we needed our slow and had quite a few melee abilities.

Ranged weapons were only usible while you were shooting em, out of combat your sword/axe whatever would be visible
