i was wandering if Island expedition currency is account wide or just character specific.
I havent played wow for 2 weeks now and i dont bother adding sub in order to check this.
If i remember correctly they are untradable which means ‘character-specific’ which is actually sad.
what do you think?
If you have no sub how can you post as you need an active sub to post.

Seafarer Dub should be account wide. Infact most currencies should be account wide
You could check on mmo or wowhead for any new changes and i ageee currency should be account wide you earn it you should be able to use as you see fit.
You dont need sub to post forum.

Only place its not needed for is Classic forums atm.

Dabs are char bound.
You need an active account to post on all forums apart from classic.

I believe the items you buy from the vendor on the boat are account bound. So you can theoretically go on a character with currency and queue up for an IE then buy items to send over.
I’ve never actually tried to do it myself. I just noticed the goods we buy are ‘account bound’ when I inspect the vendor.
i am not really talking about the vendor within Island Expeditions.
I am talking about the new vendor coming in 8.1 who has mounts pets etc. which cost around 500 SB. i have 100+ SB all over my characters which is sad if i cant combine them
I have seen someone else claim the currency will change when the new vendor comes in but I’ve not read it officially so I don’t actually know.
Time to investigate!

The old dubloons had a silver coloured look to the icon, the new ones have gold.
I really wish they would change it to something like the BoA pet battle tokens instead of a currency.
Having 50-60 on each of 10 chars is annoying when you just want to buy some of the new items in 8.1
