Seal of Ascension

Hello. After I completed the quest Seal of Ascension (4742), I received item Seal of Ascension (12344), which can summon Vaelastrasz to help the caster when used according to the item’s description.

I planned to call him in the final fight with General Drakkisath in UBRS(Upper Blackrock Spire) because he can remove fear effect from character according information i found in WOWHEAD.

However, when I started the battle with Drakkisath and used the item, I found that no one was summoned.

I tried using the item in other parts of the dungeon, in combat or out of combat. With the same result.

Plz explain what I’m doing wrong and why Vaelastrasz doesn’t come to my rescue.

At least in vanilla the ring was only usable during Rend Blackhand fight, not Drakkisath or other fights.

Yeah i see, thanks. Problem is - i’m trying to clear UBRS only by my 68 lvl DK and killing Rend Blackhand is not hard for me. But i cannot kill Drakkisath because of mind control and 2 strong adds.

i’m feeling strong sence of incompleteness and was hoping for summoning Vaelastrasz, because he can heal and remove mc effect.

Any ideas how can i kill him? Lvling and geting beter gear is not an option for lots of reasons.
