Yoyo,
i was wondering if it actually indended that people hit by Searing Glare are still able to land kicks or if this is just an oversight. I am not complaining, just confused since it doesn’t make much sense.

I mean think about it… you are seared by light so what do you do? You start kicking around randomly and you just interrupt someone.
Thinking about it I think DH should be immune to this since they cover their eyes anyway right?
Yes, it’s intended.
Kicks can’t miss, they’re flagged to never be able to miss.
Flags
* No Attack Miss
Flags
* No Attack Miss
Flags
Cannot miss
And so on.
Any ability with these flags can’t miss.
Ok that actually makes perfect sense then. I never actually bothered to check these flags on wowhead.
Kicks can’t miss but they can be immuned, which leads back to the same question of coding on Glare.
Example:
Using a DH kick on a person casting while affected by Revival Magic immunity. The kick doesn’t land and you end up giving precog, same for other magical kicks.
I believe Glare allowing kicks to go through may just be additional coding (or lack of) so it isn’t too overpowered. Some interactions would be a little too brutal. You’re glared into Full Clone. Glared into Full Ray of Frost 100-0 dead etc.
I don’t think this will be changed and I guess it’s fine that it works this way.
Its because Glare is not an immunity. Theres nothing wrong with the coding.
