Season 2 ksm requires both tyrannical and fortified 15s in 9.1

I wouldnt be so sure there will be alot more groups doing it, I think theres a chance it will be boycotted all the way as long as tyrannical is not ‘fixed’ difficulty wise, with only end result being substantially less people getting the achievement and it no longer being required for anyone semi-decent to join groups.

Well, i got a great group
I time up to +19 with my weird group  But having a boomy would have speeded the KSM route up for months. Just by how the dungeons are created/designed.

I saw this news in my guild discord - i just knew i had to come to the forums to distract me from work.

I have not been disappointed.

Look, +15 is doable by any well coordinated and properly geared party. On any affix combination. It’s those extreme push keys that do require a specific affix combination (namely: the easiest one) because of the system’s infinite scaling nature.

Also, this forum post is misleading, as you don’t actually have to complete every dungeon on +15 twice. The KSM requirement is 2000 mythic+ rating. You can mix and match the dungeons and key levels to your liking, you could do +17 forti and +13 tyra and still get away with enough score. You also don’t have to hunt for that stupid one dungeon that was eluding you and is stuck at +13 or +14, you can just push a little more on those you already completed on +15.

KSM meta in 9.1 will involve pushing easy affix weeks to +17 / +18 and also avoiding really bad dungeons in favor of pushing less annoying ones. It’s a different system from what we had to this point, but not intrinsically bad one. I mean, everyone had RIO installed and knows how RIO rating works. This new system gives achievements directly from RIO rating, not from simply completing all dungeons on +15.

But +15 tyra is not difficult. It becomes an issue when you try to push really high keys, because boss abilities will be just unhealable.

It is difficult to people that find it difficult

Either way any component that adds extra difficulty will do so regardless of what level particular person is on.

Fewer people will get it for sure. However as I said earlier currently more than 25% of the playerbase can acquire KSM. Making it a bit harder won’t make it too exclusive, and at least you’ll have some sense of accomplishment after you earn it.

ye - the whole bottom of top 5% of playerbase

jezus you tryhards are hillarius :joy:

ye 25% of those hardcore noliers that remained :joy:

because at this point likely 80 % of whole playerbase left :joy:

It’s from all accounts afaik.

sure is :joy:

especially from majority of players who dont even do +2 :joy:

but with this amazing change im sure that Ion will feel motivated to do at least +2 on SD and PF on his main even once because so far he didnt even complete a single of those m+ dungeons in SL :joy:

What an absolute joke of a decision. Actually, no, I just wish it was a joke. This is Tyrannical we’re talking about, an affix that has been disliked by the playerbase for as least 3 years by now. Not because it’s hard, but because it’s freaking boring. Trash flops and bosses with 1-2 mechanics take 3-4 minutes to kill when you get to higher keys.

Blizzard, if there is bad content that is generally disliked by your players, the solution is to fix it and make it fun, replace it with something fun, or straigh up remove it, not to make us play it despite it being boring. You did this with Beguiling where you put Void Emissaries into packs that we’d normally skip because they were overtuned and made them even worse, just to force us into playing them. How did that turn out? Yeah, you made a strong contender for the most hated seasonal affix. And now, instead of fixing Tyrannical after years of feedback, you force us into it without doing anything about it.

You’re getting SO MUCH feedback COSNTANTLY, yet you choose to ignore and actively work AGAINST THE FEEDBACK. You did this with Covenants, conduit energy, Valor, raid an M+ loot, Torghast, Maw… I could go on.

But who am I kidding. The next interview you do, we’ll here the classic “we’re happy with the current state of the game”. Let me propose something to you Blizzard, how about you stop asking if you’re happy with the game, and instead start asking if the players are happy? What do you think? Or is that not something you care about anymore?

We’re always wrong and you know best what we actually want, isn’t that right Ion?

And as a final spit in the face, you can’t even be bothered to make an original mount. You just slap a different color to the S1 mount. You’re not game devs, you’re lazy money milkers who don’t give a damn about your players.

I am so happy with these changes, gl to those who were getting boosted in non tyrannical weeks

Do you have any statistics about that?

I dislike it alot. Its a mega lazy way to force interaction with a terrible affix. Also alot more work for a goddam RECOLOUR of the season 1 mount. jog on Blizz

I wouldnt mind it IF PVPers had to get the same rating in 2v2, 3v3 and rated BGs for them to upgrade their gear to a certain ilvl.

I think even half of my guild is not doing any M+ (or raiding) at all  Blizzard has said somewhere before that the majority of players are casual open world players. One of the reasons LFR is doing so well too.

I don’t see the problem. The people that do a lot of M+ and deserve KSM will do both Tyrannical and Fortified anyway, so nothing will really change. And it will make it even more tedious for players to get boosted to KSM which is awesome. So overall it’s a good decision in my opinion. GG Blizzard :muscle:

typical ion move! #learn2play

Just accept you’re bad instead of making fun of people calling them “tryhards”
