feb/march seasons usually last any were between 4-6 months.

11-12 February would be my guess, based on 8 weeks release for patches. 
Why do you post on a classic char? Show us your progress, ilevel and all the good stuff - we wont make fun of you…
Armory is bugged can’t even switch posting characters.
As for OP,they are not that dumb at bliz,around after the end of anniversary event sounds about right.

We dont even have conq cap removed yet in pvp, the seasons just barely started
100% not this year my guess us like end of january or middle of february
season 2 usually comes with new raid and there is no sign just yet of that on PTR so March/April is a sound bet ,hopefully a bit before.
When you logout and back in you wont be able to post until you can again, took me 2 relogs to fix.
Probably a bit later. Following the 8 weeks cycle would put 11.0.7 right on Christmas/before Christmas, which I doubt. I would suspect that 11.0.7 launches at early/mid jan and season 2 at end of feb/early march.
That is assuming we do not have any other delays in the production.
