Nope. No explanation.
It’s not because it’s tyrannical week either.
They are very unfriendly for pugs and in general. That’s it.
And we are stuck with them for another 3 months
I miss Shadowlands dungeon! There you go, I said it!!! You actually made me saying it Blizzard! Even S1 DF were acceptable.
One shot mechanics usually in 23/24 I see my fellow members going down one by one by the bosses and mobs… among thorns, bees, stuns, fears, healing checks…
pugs and communities with no coordination is a struggle.
Edit: I’m not saying they are hard, I’m saying they are unfun. That’s all.
Yeap, WC is something I really think could be a good key dungeon. Same for Shadowfang as well! Especially with the whole recapturing of Gilneas, I think it would be a nice fit to have in Season 4.
to be honest i expected more then just timewalking dungeons pimped up for mythic +, i thought they might bring us dungeons that are not in timewalking pools - would be nice to get one dungeon from classic, one from TBC , one WoTLK , one Mist and rest with at least two from current expac as the dawn of infinite kind of feel like one dungeon u do twice
There are no one shot mechanics in 23/34 if you play them correctly.
Mechanics killing you in highish keys doesn’t make dungeons “unfun”. Hell, half the people that got to that level are only there because the dungeons are so easy this season.
I’ll be gearing up an alt next week or the week after, so I’m fine with the season taking a bit longer. At least I’m familiar with the dungeon, unlike the S1 and S2 ones that will return (I came back just before S3 started).
Resetting the boss because the group died at 3% and getting a thorn and seeing the boss disappear…. That is unfun to me.
The healer dies at 90% Iridikron and the fight is gg… that is unfun to me.
Watching people failing the time pizza boss is unfun to me.
Watching people dying on Yazma because tornadoes knock them over the spiders in unfun.
Shall I continue or you get the gist?
Again, you didn’t read the end of that sentence. I didn’t say they are hard or impossible. I said they are not fun to play. There is a difference.
Ok let’s change gear because people take me out of contest thinking I’m complaining the dungeons are hard.
What are your feelings about this season? Do you like it? Did you prefer previous seasons?
I liked S1, especially with dungeons like Azure Vault (dunno why I like that dungeon) and Ruby (again I don’t know why I like it it’s a very challenging one and it’s beatable with brain, probably that’s the reason)
Dungeons are fine. Except maybe some annoying boss mechanics. You all know which ones.
However, I feel they sort of left their vision a bit “half way”.
I agree with blizzards concept of “making healers heal” strategy. It makes sense, and you feel rewarded for healing.
However. This had unintended consequences. Those are the 1-shots, and those also existed in S1.
And that is where “half-finished” dungeons comes in. Nobody likes 1-shots.
So what they should do, is re-think the whole M+ scaling from scratch. What they should do in my opinion is scale damage with key level, up to certain point. After that level, damage no longer increases, but instead HP of mobs scales twice as fast.
That way, you guarantee you will never, ever reach a 1-shot situation. But… now, the limiting factor to pushing keys is DPS.
And it makes sense because DPS is the only thing that can scale infinitely, as do dungeons. Healing and tanking do not.
Ok, so you do not like it when other people make mistakes or aren’t doing mechanics correctly. Well, it is a teamgame.
Season 3 seems to be by far the best DF season since 6 out of 8 dungeons aren’t from dragonflight. The DF dungeons, including DOTI, are the worst ever.
It feels like I’m playing with 6 affixes, 4 of which are an addition outside Blizzard…
Always been the case but in particular this season for some reasons.
It’s all cool and groovy when it comes to mobs right? Because you can release.
How many times people died on the mobs before manifested timeways? raise your hands….
How many times you died on the mobs jumping on you in DHT until you’re fully healed? Again, let me see your hands?
The dragons before last boss Rise? anyone? Ok that last one is manageable but you see my point…
… there is also the double naga in ToTs who leaves you with very low health and die if not healed immediately. Good luck if you get on 2 ppl at the same time.
The dogs in ToTs I’ve seen Deja dying on them with my Evok (before he says they are manageable )
And these are just an example of unfun, but not impossible, not hard… just… annoying, frustrating, not… fun.
