That’s not catch-up. That’s bad luck protection allowing you to more reliably get raid weapons. You will need to do the raids to get the tokens to buy these weapons.

OP is asking for gear that will help them get to the raids in the first place.

I dont have to kill Sylvanas to buy the daggers. Also applies to LFR as it becomes Fated as well. Making it even easier to get your hands on the coins up to the point where you can just afk. And if rekills count towards the tracker then you can get the 30 kills you need in total in a day.

But you can buy Zereth Mortis gear right now to get your alt to 226 fairly quickly I think. And 226 will be irrelevant in S4, so Zereth Mortis gear won’t be relevant. It may be bumped a few ilvls, I don’t know. But it better be.

If the tokens work like they did in S1, LFR tokens will reward you with LFR tokens, which is basically garbage.

Rekills won’t count towards the counter, as that would be actually stupid to do. The goal with the 30 kills is to require you to clear the full fated raid 3 weeks in a row - this is a way for them to stagger progression.

Indeed.
I have mostly 252 ZM gear with a coupld of 246 tier pieces (Sandworn Relic + Cosmic Flux) along with my 265 legendary.
This is reasonable. I don’t want to go get them all again. I’ll run the Fated LFRs probably (depending on Queue times) and maybe get a few new pieces but I don’t want a wholesale upgrade.

Even LFR will have the ilvl of heroic sanctum now.
I guess I might as well not do any more endgame content until season 4

I may yet get the Sylvanas bow afterall if the guild decides to continue in season 4.

It would be nice if the crafted 261 (or 62?) ilvl gear wasn’t limited to one slot - that way, we could use professions for catchup, better so than anima gear! It could be made its own rank.

And we wouldn’t feel that weak in keys either with the 226 anima gear.
