Yeah, thatâs the whole point⌠To give us something to do while we wait for 11.0 instead of just killing fyrakk and waiting for 6 months as usual we get season 4. Itâs not perfect, itâs not the best, but itâs better than what we had before.
Season have been a thing since WoTLk, they just changed framing from Patch to season.

Game is way more complex than it used to be in 2004. Everything is fast paced. Lots of competition make people raise their expectations. Fanbase is largely divided, impossible to make everyone happy.
And theyâve sucked since wotlk. Just because somethingâs been around for long time doesnât mean itâs a good thing.
Mythic plus doesnt work without seasons. Or would you rather be pushing 30s or 40s at season 1 scaling

m+ could be like pvp gearing and be its own mode with gear. easy to remove âseasonsâ from openworld and raid. and maybe raiders are also more happy so they dont need to m+

Im not a fan of it either, but saddly it easier to reset progression every patch than creaiting and sustaining a sistem that can carry on forever.
