I am not surprised that you do not get it. You are mainly interested in what you yourself have to say. People have already stated several times that in SoM realms there was 100% experience boost on quests.
I know that there was exp boost and I know it was there since November 2021.
But somehow you do not see the exp buff as a valid reason to play SoM to the end.
I see it but the end was in November.
If it ended yesterday, how did it end in November?
The realm closure was postponed. The whole purpose of last 7 days was to login to delete your mail.

Everyone only soaks in what they want, you know how it is.
I never played SoM, i had no interest in it but i know that the servers there were quite empty longer before they got closed, and then you get some people around these forums asking Blizzard for a new SoM…so i guess that some people just want constant repetitive cycles even when those, SoM hype in this case, proves to die out quite quickly.
