Yes you can. I play since vanilla in 2005 with an English client on French servers
I hear its dont work for RU-region. Anyway, in 2019 it didn’t work on vanilla
We were given a dedicated server - PVP ru-region, but were not given a pve server. Very sad. I am can 't play in native language client
Too many servers. Some of them will be totally ghost towns 1 month in, 1 pvp 1 pve per region is more than enough.

Give PVE server on RU-region. Or give able the opportunity to join with the client in native language. In fact, the ru region was deprived of the pve server

There is no pve server where we can play with native game-client language (ru)
There’s going to be at least one ghosttown server after a month, guaranteed.
