can we remove this BG already? blows my mind that SOTA was deemed so terrible by the devs that it warranted the thanos snap, yet we keep seething shore.
just take it out back already. it can join Ring of Valor in heaven.
Wow I totally forgot about SOTA! Why was it disliked?
Seething Shore is a little annoying having 5 extra enemies drop onto you out of nowhere.
But everyone has different preferences. My friends and I hate Temple of Kotmogu the most; because of the scattered respawn locations, teams end up getting separated and disorganised. It’s the most commonly massively one-sided BG we see.
Blacklisting would be an amazing feature, and bringing SotA would be great to have it back.
at the time it stood out like a sore thumb. FC and node capture maps were simple to understand. SOTA was unintuitive for your average BG gamer so what would happen is every single SOTA would be 10-14 people standing at their gate doing literally nothing, while 1-2 people tried to bring the demolishers up front and break the gates and actually win.
if the enemy team had someone with a brain it was even more silly - you just ran past the team fight and stood at the place the demolishers respawned and farmed them sorta like you do with the glaive throwers at docks in IOC.
if it is brought back it should get changes, but even if you brought it back exactly like this, AT LEAST you can say you can have fun fights in it and goof around - you can’t do that in seething snore, where half of your gameplay is spent falling from the sky, waiting at a node, mining the node, or running to a team fight that is already won or lost.
