Self-service?

I have requested a refund from wow but it seems like it will take time. I read an article that you can get your money faster if you use the self-service part when making a request. Does anyone know the self-service link? I couldnt find it.

If you go to the place where you can make a ticket about it - https://eu.battle.net/support/en/help/product/wow/166/1151 - the top option (character service, guild service or wow token) takes you to where you make a ticket as they can’t refund those automatically I think. The bottom option (refund other wow purchase) is the self service one and will search for anything that they can refund that way.

Keep in mind, there are circumstances where the self-service option will reject your refund.

  1. If you have played any of the gametime (if you are refunding gametime)
  2. If you have played any of the expansion, if you are refunding the expansion.
  3. if you have consumed any of the expansion gifts (boosts or mounts).

In the above cases, only a GM can authorize a refund (and sadly, often also reject).

I bought the package, played for 2 hours and they removed the package from my account. Then they told me they canceled the package. I also wanted a refund. But I got a reply that the refund process may take a long time. I just want to use self-service.

Refunds are actually instant, the moment they are authorized.

What takes a long time, is the refund landing in your account, due to how the banking system works, and that’s outside of Blizzard’s control.

It really depends on your financial institution. Some can process them in less than a day, others retain the refund for 7 to 28 days before crediting it to your account.

When I spoke to the bank, they said that I did not have any money waiting in the provision. I requested this refund from blizzard yesterday. And I wonder when this will be confirmed. It’s also really funny that they’ve had problems even when shopping with the same card on battlenet and selling digital copies for years.

It’s funny that I haven’t played the pack yet. It’s funny how I’m only selling digital copies and having trouble with it.

Checking the responses of my colleagues, I can confirm that there is no refund to be made (which is why the self service won’t work), because your payment was not accepted. I won’t be able to go into details on the forums, so do feel free to reopen a ticket if you need more information about what happened.

Right now, you simply need to wait a few days (generally 2-3 working days), and the bank should send you your money back on your account.
