Hi,
I’ve owned multiple accounts for a while now and I’d like a make some golds during the SL launch with multiboxing farming.
All relevant multiboxing tools must be purchased (isboxer, keyclone) and I’ve heard you can get a ban if you’re using AHK.
So I’d like to make my own open-source Python-based multiboxing software. It would be very simple (broadcast keyboard, maybe mouse, windows positioning).
So I was wondering. How is isboxer allowed and AHK is not. If my software is open-source (which means that blizzard can have a look at the code), does it mean I would be safe ?
My accounts are 13 years old, really don’t want to lose them here.
The official stance is, that Blizzard does not support multiboxer tools. The tools must strictly follow the 1 key = 1 action, including clones.
If you make macros outside the game (beyond the above) then that is against the ToS. I’m quite sure whether if your software’s open source or obscured that Blizzard will be able to take a look, eventually.
