Why do people spam their selling services in LFG chat instead of Trade chat? It is making it close to impossible to find any groups at all. Is this even allowed? (I mean spaming LFG instead of Trade)

because most people get boost service for dungeons,they are not interested in normal grouping.So boost took over all channels.Also those channels reach people all over the world,instead of just people in cities.

I have it in a seperate window, i dont want to ignore it. I just think blizzard should smack every “WTS or WTB” in the LFG channel with a 30day chatban or something.
Then don’t whine.
I can whine as much as i want. They are selling services, that should be kept in TRADE not in LookingForGroup.

Blizzard doesn’t care about that. Retail group finder is 70% Boosting advertisement and they don’t do anything against it.
They could hire literally 1 guy that just bans those advertisers all day, 5 days a week. But that kind of service does not exist anymore
They just dont care about it.
And LFG is the best chat to spam everything because everyone reads it. Thats why the different channels dont work.
- Because LFG is global and trade isn’t.
- Because there is no rule that says they can’t do that.
I use the LFG almost every day, and find it perfectly usable.
