How fast is it these days to sell tokens? Would I be able to sell a large quantity in, say, a week?

I thought you could only purchase a fixed amount of tokens, 10 a week and have a maximum of 10 in your inventory.

Your Blizzard account can only have one type of Token and:
- a maximum of 20 Tokens purchased with money in your inventory at one time, or
- a maximum of 10 Tokens purchased with gold in your inventory at one time

Usually a matter of hours, the whole EU server buys & sells tokens no matter which server you play on.
I’d suggest you wait until the SL launch (26th of oct iirc) to sell tokens as the price most likely greatly increase, far beyond the current 180k gold you would get now
Unfortunately, I need the gold before pre-patch.
Then limit it as much as possible.

Will it tho? I can imagine more demand in tokens, but u also can see prople “need” more gold in start of expansion, so less people are gona buy tokens with gold and more people are gona buy then with RM to get said gold… But maybe u right, i dont remember much expansions starts, and i certainly didnt follow token prices

The token price is more or less related to the in game activity and the value of gold. It’s not an absolute rule but here’s what I observed after using tokens for two years now (buying them with gold actually 
)
- The easier it is to farm gold (IE legion gold missions) the higher the price.
- BFA tried to fight the inflation caused by WoD and Legion and thus led to the price dropping instead.
- The more players are involved in the game (new xpack, new patch ect, everything that may lead you to need gold) the higher the price. Always better to sell tokens early and buy late in the patch.
- While it’s not 100% accurate I consider the token price to be a good metric to follow how many players are still active. Lowest point in BFA imo is late 8.0 and the tokens were at their lowest too. Every patch did better than late 8.0 imo, even 8.3 and the price supports it.
- The more valuable Blizz balance is (digital service/game sales, new acti blizz game, new mount or allied race ect) the higher the price.
- Just a new shop mount may increase the token price by 20% overnight.
There used to be a website (wowtokeninfo iirc) which offered a price graph from WoD to BFA and you would see the price spike at every patch release, in particular around xpack releases (BFA being an exception as it killed the legion free gold, leading the token to drop from 300k to 200k over the course of 8.0 iirc)
Classic release led the token to go from 160k to 300k in a week iirc, just from wealthy players buying tokens with retail gold to play classic for free.
So take it with a pinch of salt, but I’m pretty confident that the token will go way higher than 200k when SL hit and most players dissatisfied with BFA give it a try. As usual professions mats will be expensive, it’ll be a golden opportunity to take part in the economy and token prices should rise accordingly.

They usually sell anywhere from 2 hours up to 6 hours for me on, what I’d call, a medium populated server.
Bought and sold 20 tokens within a few hours this evening - and now, I can’t buy any more?
I get a Shop Error “You have too many of that item already”. I did have 20, but I already sold them.
Do anyone know when I can buy again?
I can sell you a lot. I’ll even get you a discount if you buy a bridge.

Are you aware if that’s a normal week, or between resets? As in, as I bought these 20 tokens on a Tuesday, will I be able to buy more tomorrow, since the WoW week “resets” Wednesday morning here in EU?
I would presume it’s over a 7 day period but I don’t actually know either way for sure.

20 tokens is 3,4 million. So I’m guessing you were pretty spent before that?
