Send mail to alts of opposite faction?

Now that we are at it, please consider let us send mail to our alts of opposite faction. Now that we can group together, the AH is merged, I really dont see the reason why not be able to just send gold or items to my alliance alts and vice versa.

I want this just for the fantasy of all my blood elf himbos getting their monthly 10k gold from their unknown worgen sugar momma.
They both in actuality detest worgen but my druid’s been spending time with a ren’dorei and has her writing the letters and sending portraits.
The catfish of the century! They haven’t asked to meet…yet.

Between battle pets and renowned tabards being account bound (albeit at a terrible converserion rate) these cross faction trade restrictions are meaningless so would be nice.

Also think of the roleplay ideas! If they decide as well to have guilds go cross-faction then having trade cross faction completely opens up the fantasy and the more RPG elements we have in the MMO the better.

Gold sellers would exploit this to the max.

Put up an item on the AH on the faction you want your gold to go to, get a friend to buy it out on the AH in the other faction.

The item best used is a piece of linen cloth or something totally worthless for like 1m gold.

Problem solved.

How? Auction House is merged for both factions… how they can exploit that?

Soon it’s gonna be “group with a friend on a toon from the opposite faction and enter a dungeon to trade”. At this point it isn’t a barrier, just a hassle, which is why we should at least be allowed to send stuff to alts on the same realm regardless of faction.

not to mention that it will also help with faction balance… the only reason I dont have alliance toon is this barrier… I could play a night elf druid but I am thinking all the hassle to “communicate” with my alt…

so they pay 30 euro for faction change to not lose 5% from AH… why not use AH and spend that 30 euro of faction change to buy token for even more gold? I really cant believe people do this, unless they are complete morons, which should not be the reason for the rest of playerbase have this barrier.

1 token = 300k which the amount you lose if you want to transfer 6.000.000 gold!!! (5%)

but with 30 euro you buy 1,5 tokens, so you can afford AH transfer of 9.000.000 gold that way.

so only if you want to transfer more than 9M gold it is better to use a faction change…

Now if you think that the whole playerbase should not be able to send mail to their alts because it will be easier for someone to transfer more that 9.000.000 gold to other faction (which will do anyway, by using faction change) then thats your opinion, but I disagree

and I gave you the math… in order to do this and be profitable, you need to transfer more than 9.000.000 gold. How many do this? and is this a reason for 99,9999% of playerbase to not have a feature?

I’d be so happy for this! My main has no difficulty grinding gold and I could send it over to an ally toon to get the WoD chopper.
