Sentinel and Righteous Protector

Just wondering if Righteous Protector is supposed to work with Sentinel? Initially I thought it was a bug but I am now unsure given I can see it was reported during beta as being an issue; leading me to a conclusion that it is intended to work this way?

My reasoning for thinking it’s a bug is because I can’t see any reason why Righteous Protector shouldn’t proc with Sentinel outside the codebase of RP having a hardcoded pointer to the variable “Avenging Wrath”. Sentinel, as a replacer to Avenging Wrath: Might (i.e. you exchange offensive 20% crit with a de-stacking defensive - the difference being situational), seems like it logically should be included within the Avenging Wrath cooldown pool; especially given how other affects within the tree tack on to Avenging Wrath to make it one of our key cooldowns.

Not a rant honestly, just would like some Blizzard insight into why - if not a bug - Sentinel is not included within the Righteous Protector cooldown!

The tooltip for Sentinel says it combines with Avenging Wrath. Righteous Protector not reducing Sentinel’s cooldown is 100% a bug. I suggest to keep reporting it as a bug. I do the same.

It now works!

EDIT: hilariously, it is not mentioned in the hotfixes…

Looks like they added it to the hotfix list yesterday. Glad to see it’s fixed!
