Separate Button for the Lunarwing Form

Continuing the discussion from Give the Lunarwing form a diffrent botton:

Alright, so I didn’t level a Druid through Legion and just now decided to get the Class Mount. Did that, it’s cool in a way - especially the ability to carry a friend.

I’ve used the separate Stag Form for that exact purpose, carrying friends (new players) when playing together with Party Sync. It’s awesome! Lunarwing would be even better if we want to fly, but I don’t want to always have it active. The current way of turning it on and off with the help of Skycaller Faeb is very inconvenient (and as I’ve heard, it removes Glyphs which you have to use another one to reapply).

Anyway, you can learn Stag Form with Tome of the Wilds: Stag Form. It gives you a separate button. Travel form will not let you be a Stag if you are in a flying zone. Stag Form is your solution. If you want to carry friends, the Lunarwing Form will not let you use your usual Flight Form.

Simple suggestion for this simple problem: Tome of the Wilds: Lunarwing Form

This would teach you the Lunarwing Form ability (as separate button from Travel Form).

You don’t need to change the current implementation (toggle via Skycaller Faeb). If someone wants to use the Lunarwing Form every time, they can turn their Flight Form into it (as it currently is). If someone wants to use it on special occasions, however, this Tome would be the perfect solution.

It would only make sense to do it now, when the recently announced focus of Shadowlands is to reintroduce some missed abilities. I think adding some new additions like this simple one would be welcome.

I would like this very much.

I only use the lunar wing form on my main druid because I think the racial flying forms are way better.

I just noticed you were the one posting that one reply under the og thread as well, and you were the only one.

I can’t imagine there isn’t more people who’d like a simple addition like this. It would be optional too, so if someone doesn’t want extra buttons, they don’t have to get it.

I hope it doesn’t get forgotten again.

I don’t know why it hasn’t got much traction.

blizz keep releasing druids and keep giving them unique flight forms and we’re supposed to not use them for the lunar owl form?

Don’t get me wrong, the owl is swell, I like being able to carry a friend, but I love my pterodactyl form on my zandalari more.

Also, we got a glyph for the warden owl form that we can’t use for the convenience of being able to carry somebody.

Seems a bit absurd that we have to lose a form to gain the owl where every other class in legion got at least one mount.

The answer is probably to get the Sandstone Drake.
