I want to roll Alliance and want to know if they are good in PvP, especially battlegrounds, thanks.
Ally loses most BGs, Iād say 50% because of playing really stupidly, and 50% because horde team is always unfairly OP.
Maybe in that 50%, matchmaking gives horde more healers or otherwise better team (or more players) 40% of the time?
These are just estimations based on experience.
On ally side, winning a BG is a real challenge, on horde side, itās a given breakfast with no challengeā¦ depending on what you like, you might actually appreciate ally side.

Dont read the criers and test it for yourself. I think horde is even worse than alliance.
I play alot of bgs and Iām winning more than losing.

At the end of the day the win rate is 50/50, even if it feels like you lose a lot. The brain plays tricks on us.

I win 70 percent of my games. I make sure though that I play as a really good healer. I do everything to keep my guys alive.

Main issue with the horde is they are literally every single BG late 3-4 seconds for mass fight at the beginning.
Gates open,im halfway there,i check map,most people didnāt even pass the gate.

Depends on day and time of day. Week nights are the worst, but on weekends the queues are full of week end warriors and then the fast queues times make for huge winning streaks

No, donāt roll alliance for bgs. Its nerve wracking and alliance is undergeared most of the times
I just did the brawl and my team didenāt teamwork at all.

People who give you anecdotes about abysmal 9/10 loss streaks etc mostly solo queue and run into premades, which is sadly a very common thing.
Overall Iād say itās about 50/50 yeah, but with some really ugly (or pretty) streaks that swing the pendulum one way or the other.
At the moment, A LOT of Hordies queue as mercs, and that probably has a big impact on normalizing things, as I personally experience way more wins on Alliance nowadays than I ever did in 8.2-8.3 BfA. For instance, I didnāt ever experience a SINGLE Epic BG win in 8.3. Absolutely zero of them.
When the mercing and masses of people farming honor slows down, Iām guessing weāll see more and more premades dominating puggers, causing Hordies to complain about Alliance always winning, and Alliance complaining about the Horde always winning.
Both sides lose equally as much, sometimes you have losing streak sometimes win streaks, pick a side you like and a queue time you can stand and go for it. Anecdotally i have found alliance have been winning far more recently.
People complaining about horde or alliance are either bad players, poor team mates, badly geared or have bad poor luck. Doesnāt matter which side youāre on this will follow you.

Eh,thatās more of an āissueā of actually being attentive lol. Whenever I focus on BGs and go from objective to objective, I have to stand around and wait for ppl to figure out what to do next - for example, on EotS, we defend BET and need to go help Fel Reaver, nope; Iām halfway through and one person finally started to move. Or ācounterattacksā on BfG that wait patiently for other side to group again and defend, with some fella adamantly typing āwe have to defendā while we have only mines and 4 ppl constantly there, but thatās just random BGs for you.
From my limited experience (and based on impression on Horde side, not data) Iād say the small BGs are relatively equal with some imbalance depending on BG. WS slightly Horde favored, Arathi + Gilneas slightly Alliance, Storm even, the minecart one slightly Horde.
For the epic battlegrounds we seem to win Alterac a lot. Wintergrasp rarely + weāre almost always on the attacking side (Iāve seen defensive side twice so far and one of those I might have queued as merc).
Horde has the overall advantage that they can queue BGs as mercs, but to be quite honest BGs feel like a complete sh!t show on both sides. (Horde is probably more disorganized, but Iāve actually seen people afking on Alliance side, like wtf).
Alliance has better pvp racials tho, especially Night Elves are beyond broken, they just get a free vanish.
small bgs alliance are winning most of the time atm. epic bgs are dominated by the horde overall. alliance winning some alterac valley and isle of conquest.
