Seriously Tired of Error #132 (0x85100084) - What is happening, We need our gametime Back

When are you going to fix your broken system, Almost 10 times in a row I got the same error. Then the game starts from the 11th time and when i use a portal, I get it again. It’s happening at random times.

And yes, my hardware is fine, everything except WoW works, And Yes, I have tried all possible trouble shooting solutions from Blizzard. And no, there is nothing wrong with my Windows as well.

This is purely isolated to WoW after Patch 8.1.5. Fix your damn game or refund our gametime.

Hardware:
AMD Ryzen 1300X
G.Skill DDR4 2666 Mhz RAM

Hey all,

You have likely gone through this already, but please do make sure you go through all the steps listed in the Error 132 support article thoroughly. Go through all the steps listed and test once more afterwards (without installing any new addons and such).

If that still does not help out, post your System Files so we can have a closer look into this. Please go through the steps listed here, and create both the MSInfo and DxDiag files. Post them on a page like Pastebin.com or share directly with us through OneDrive. Post the links here afterwards as Preformatted text </>, so we can have a look.

Have a few seconds to spare? Let me know how I’m doing!

Already did the steps again, Does Not Work.

Thank Zenaian,

You do have a lot of active background applications. Please go through the steps linked before once more, to close all background applications and overlays, before testing again. As you have the Twitch app active as well, make sure to clear your UI (addons) completely as well (after removing the Twitch App), to ensure World of Warcraft does not have any addons active when testing again.

Thank you for going through the steps once more Xaero. When the game crashes, does it give you the crash report details? If it does, please make sure to submit it (send to Blizzard) and post the error code here so we can have a look into that as well.

In addition to that, could you see if this continues to happen if you fully disable your Megasync (backup software) temporarily?

Have a few seconds to spare? Let me know how I’m doing!

Yes, I did that, everytime it crashed I clicked “Send to Blizzard”.

I haven’t tried that, but Megasync is my default cloud service & it never interfered with WoW or any other Game until 8.1.5 was launched, so I can try that, but even if it works, that’s not the solution, because it was working fine before the patch was launched.

So i had the same problem this morning but I finally managed to fix it! For me it was the Discord Overlay that was messing up the game. When in discord got to settings > Game Activity and turn off Overlay. If that doesnt work try turning off discord completely and restarting WoW. Not saying it’ll work 100%, but it did for me!

Update: Changed the graphics API to “DirectX 11 Legacy” and the crashes have stopped. This means there’s something wrong with the way the game is using DirectX 12. Hope it gets fixed soon.
