I am having an issue with SSC on retail servers.
The waterfall gate in front of the Serpentshrine Cavern instance portal refuses to go away. The console to the fall’s right is also not interactable in any way. I have tried using a macro, tried reloading, tried relogging, tried re-entering the zone, re-entering the zone after a hearth and nothing is working.
How does anyone enter the raid when playing solo? I read that making a raid group might fix the issue but I am on a low population realm and have no friends playing anymore that I can rely on.
Any assistance would be appreciated. Cheers.
EDIT: I asked a random stranger to make a raid group with me real quick and the waterfall did not go away upon running up to it in a raid group.
EDIT 2: After some searching around the web I found multiple people that had the same issue dating back multiple years and their threads did not receive a definitive working answer. All I found was dead-ends.
Maybe it would be wise to simply remove the waterfall gate in its entirety since it no longer provides any sort of purpose and is currently only a detriment to the experience of the players that run into this bug?
EDIT 3: Found the issue, its related to what timeline you are in with Chromie. If you are in anything that is not the present timeline then the waterfall will never open.
