Server and connection issues following patch 11.2.5 (Oct. 08)

Hey all, Thanks for the chat so far! We’re currently investigating this issue as a server issue, where players are going to experience being desync’d from the game. This will most likely be the cause of the quests not completing, NPCs not interacting with you, or characters being stuck on loading screens. If this happens, please try to close the game, and log back in. If you’re stuck on a loading screen, or receive a message saying that a character already exists, you will need to wait up to…

We’re seen reports of an issue with the first quest (Time Crisis), which can desync your character, and prevent you from turning in the quest. Closing the game and logging back in should solve the issue.

As a reminder, the error message saying that a character already with that name already exists is completely normal, and happens when you left the game (either with ALT F4 or got disconnected). The game will need about 5-10 minutes to disconnect your character from the game, allowing you to log back in.
