As stated in the bluepost here :
“In the event of future character deaths due to DDoS attacks, we will only restore characters that remain on their Hardcore realm.”
So the real question is: was this really a DDOS? Because if it wasn’t, then it will be very shameful but Blizzard might choose to not do anything about it.
