it is outragious, every day for the past 4 days we have had mass dc’s with mass deaths, all of them that died during set points in time on previous days should get a ressurection!

I just died after mass disconnect (Mankriksson, lvl 35 rogue, Soulseeker EU), just like many others on this server. Blizzard, please take action and resurrect all players that have died there!

I’ve lost a few characters through bugs and whatnot and even though that is appalling since we’re talking about a game that’s 25years old and shouldn’t have any problems, I’m fine with that and lern to watch out the next time.
We, 3 friends, play together to minimise the chance of dieing through disconnect and other connection problems.
This happened yesterday, because of a mass disconnect, no problem, my 2 friends were there to cover me (we learn and adapt ) and kill the mobs that might spawn while I’m out of the game.
Finally log in and I’m in a different layer Mobs everywhere!!! Noone there, DEAD.
I/We Took every precaution we can in this game and then i get shoved in a different layer instead of the one where my grp is.
Sorry, but this is on you guys, and I’m with the others here. A ressurection would be a fine move on your side, and greatly appreciated.

Subject: Request for Character Restoration Due to DDoS Attack (Soulseeker – Horde)
Hello,
I am a member of the Soul of Iron guild — the first Horde guild on the Stitches server to defeat Kel’Thuzad. We have since moved to the Soulseeker server, where we are actively raiding and recently became the fastest Horde guild to clear Blackwing Lair.
During the night of July 31st to August 1st, we were helping our guild master farm quest items from elite dragons for the Scepter of the Shifting Sands questline, required for the opening of the Gates of Ahn’Qiraj.
Unfortunately, due to a DDoS attack, several members were disconnected mid-event. As a result, we lost two crucial characters: our lead healer Karterii and our off-tank Ordzig.
This unexpected loss has significantly impacted our ability to continue progression in AQ20 and AQ40.
We kindly ask you to investigate this issue and consider restoring these characters.

dont worry many people died from midnight till 1am due to constant disconnect, servers were unstabble. I did lost my max level mage in a dungeon after 1st dc aswell… It is what it is
I confirm the mass DC’s for Soulseeker too - my 57 Rogue died aswell.
When and where can we hope for a revive of the lost characters?

Hello, our characters died due to DDoS attacks . Our entire guild and the server as a whole experienced game freezes. I kindly ask you to take measures and restore my character Huntervi. This situation exactly repeats previous DDoS attacks, during which you restored all characters that died in that period.

Huntervi

Ordzig
In our guild, people die every day due to mass disconnects. Please resolve this issue.

My druid also died to a dc - Scrawnyrat on Soulseeker. @Blizzard, please investigate this. The game is becoming unplayable with disconnects EVERY SINGLE NIGHT.

was playing on the Soulseeker realm with five friends in Blackrock Depths. During this time, the server was clearly under heavy DDoS attack – players were disconnecting all over, including our entire group.
When I finally managed to log back in, I was at 5% HP on my lvl 56 warrior and died instantly. My character Stangdennis was lost – not due to in-game actions, but due to a server-side issue completely beyond my control.
I’ve played Blizzard games for over 20 years, and I’ve lost many Hardcore characters fairly – and always accepted it. But this time, it feels absolutely wrong.
What makes it worse is that in previous DDoS events, some players have had their characters revived — especially streamers and high-profile accounts. Meanwhile, regular players like me get told there are “no exceptions.”
This is extremely unfair. Either the policy is zero resurrection for everyone — or it should apply equally to all. Right now, it seems like Blizzard only helps if you’re on Twitch.
Myself and my five friends have all cancelled our subscriptions because of this. After investing 6 months into our characters, we can’t justify starting over when server instability is the cause of death — and only “special” players get support.

i had contact with a GM that said no Characters will me revived
But it was not a DDoS attack, it was a server problem. Others were online with no or minimal problem.
I also lost my character. Level 36 night elf rogue while doing herbalism…
Second time dying on a character because of bullcrap like this.

Mine 50 lvl shammy Ninisina died today in mara with a same reason 11;07-11:10 ST today. EVery member of party dced but died only me coz holding agro at self like a tank. Another ppl survived. If blizzard do nothing i will drop that game. No value to play this game with same issues. No difference with private server so I should stop mine subscribe in one week. Let see what they will do
