Hey, is there any Stats or Addons that shows how many players are on EU servers? maybe with Horde/Alliance balance?

ah ok ok nice, its seem Crusader Strike EU its pretty “low” on population compare to Lone Wolf it seems…but maybe im that wrong

Everyone plays on Living Flame, disregard the other servers.

sadly i cant creater a char there

you can check the servers raidlogs to have a rough estimation of active population and faction balance.
Right now Living Flame is the biggest server by far , followed by Lone Wolf which is 2x smaller and then the rest is ded

Living Flame : 100%
Lone Wolf: 79%
Crusader Strike: 41%

Misleading source considering most pug wont raidlog and Living Flame was the top realm being called by HC / Wotlk guilds.

Thanks buddy ! im kinda afraid that Crusader Strike dies someday  so better make the switch now then later phases like in 40s or 50s

Definitely not soon, the realm is running at 10 layer like the 2 others.

Blizzard team also made new promises for dying realm (yet they are not doing anything for those on wotlk, so…).

ATM you may just considerate joining Living Flame if you’re looking for more top PVE guilds, but the TOP1 reason to pick a realm/faction in my opinion is to join friends / same language community. Either 3 of those realm are going to last.

There is also Wild Growth PvE realm which is also doing well. Census results posted on Discord show around 50K active characters for each faction.

Living Flame has a lock so I don’t see a point in waiting an waiting to get in to then get the most botted and sweaty server due to perceived mega realm status.

Yeah im not waiting for Living Flame  make no sense
BUt i want PVP server sadly…so might be going Lone Wolf instead Crusader :frowning:

Everything dies someday.
If you done have a guild - pick whatever server. I picked wild growth

We still have groups for BGs or raids forming for Ashenvale on multiple layers at once. The advantage is that the server is a bit more chill, people don’t try to prove anything or flex with things

Chaos Bolt is full of players with people looking for all kind of activities so I don’t know where you get this “dead” thing from.

Any merge for EU chaos bolt planned?

Lol. Not everyonr :rofl:. Jesus christ, lone wolf has a large population. Living flame maybe the biggest sure, but lone wolf is absolurely fine.

im horde on crusader strike, there is up to 10 layers even at 1AM in the morning

horde seem to outnumber alliance on crusader strike by about 5-10%

horde are very aggressive here and thirsty to eat gnomes intestines, be warned if you are alliance on crusader strike, dont go into the woods alone

If everybody would play on LF then why would anyone to get on it? Are they playing character creation queue simulator then?

Thread is a little old now, but I don’t think this is common knowledge.

To get an quick idea of a realm’s population you can do the below:

  1. Create a new character on your chosen realm.

  2. In Chat Settings: Global Channels > Join LookingForGroup

  3. Click the speaker icon in the top right corner of your chat box to open up the Chat Channels window. When you’re in there, click LookingForGroup, this lets the game register how many people are in the channel.

The speaker icon may be in a different location for you. You just need to get through to your Chat Channels window.

  1. Then type this in your chat window: /run print(GetChannelDisplayInfo(6))

The (6) is the important part, this will change depending on how your chat is set up in game. For me channel 6 is LookingForGroup.

  1. Your game will return something like this in the chat: LookingForGroup false nil 4 4093 true CHANNEL_CATEGORY_WORLD 1

I’m currently playing on Lone Wolf EU, Alliance side. What the above means is that at around 22.45 UK time, past peak time now I’d say, there’re 4093 Alliance players currently in the LFG channel.

Logic is, most people join the LFG channel, and never leave it on their characters. So by scanning this channel, you’re getting the most accurate picture of how active the server is.

Obviously this doesn’t give you exact numbers for server pops, some people may level and never join the LFG channel. But doing this at peak hours will give you an idea of realm activity for those precious about realms pops, and having large, or small, groups of players to interact with.

I can’t check Horde ofc, as it’s a pvp realm. But I did earlier before creating my character, around 7pm. For both factions Lone Wolf had around 5k players in the LFG channel, with Alliance slightly ahead by around 200 or so.
