Population problems - blizzard doesn’t have plans to fix them?
Recently made a character on a new player WOTLK classic realm, to get to my first city and realise the realm is deserted, no items on the auction house, not a player in sight… as far as I can tell, free character transfers aren’t available?
Are we expected to level a character again to be able to play the game? Because if you literally can’t find a person to do a dungeon with or any group content with what is the point in playing?
Does anyone know if Blizzard has plans to fix this glaring issue.
Seems crazy that you could potentially pay for the WOTLK level boost, only to find that there is no one to play with / no active guilds etc…. Think they just open up transfers for all realms or at least merge a few of them to make the game playable?
The biggest realms are too big but then anything under full, that isn’t locked to character transfers, feels like a graveyard. It’s just how the game will be without cross realm. There’s no plan to fix it, they expect players to fix it. But people just quit instead
Players were driven away from the game by queues. Now they are driven away by server locks.
They could have just leave it as it was. Players will quit naturally over time as a phase progresses so the issue will resolve itself with time. Yeah sure, not introducing locks would have resulted in 1 or 2 more weeks of queues, but I still find 3 weeks of queues a good deal for having a queueless unlocked realm that is teeming with life even at phase end.
