Hello, I’m interested in which realm to create a character on. Interested in a PvP game? What are the top PvP mono-worlds for the Horde and for the Alliance too? Perhaps there is a balance between the factions somewhere?

Search online for “wow server population” and you will see each realms population by faction and other things too. But if you are looking for open world PvP, you’re not going to find a lot of that in the retail version of WoW.
Seriously? That is, transferring a character to another realm is only worth it if there is a larger auction and more people? - so that things are bought faster.
Also Auction House now is region wide and not server wide. That mean that all EU server are 1 server for comodities (flasks, gathered ore, herbs etc) only non stackable items like armor, mounts etc are server specific
It isn’t worth it in general. It’s all mostly linked nowadays.
Also after The War Within launches you can share items with your characters on different realms, guilds will be cross-realm so realms will not matter much.
The biggest realms are Draenor and Kazzak for Horde and Silvermoon for Alliance.
And Silvermoon is infamous for falling over whenever something launches.
Hmm, well, for the sake of quickly selling items that are tied to the server - such as Kazzak or Ravencrest - I think it’s worth leveling up your character on one of these two servers. But is it worth it, because there is a queue to enter them. The price is so high. Are there long queues? Do things sell quickly there, compared to the smallest world in terms of population, probably much faster?
