We’ve just had maintenance and the EU servers just suddenly gave the notice “shutting down” for 4 AM EU. I tried to find announcements on this but found nothing on official pages or mmo champ or wowhead. Any idea what’s going on?

can see server list now but they are all offline.

I have an announcement on the launcher, says it runs from 4-5 CEST. At the moment it’s 5.52 CEST so I guess they’ll be done shortly.
They were likely up but now you have to pick which server you want to be going onto.

Thanks, this was true. They’ve messed up somehow. That server list has been appearing for the past hour or so and I thought maintenance was still underway.

Weekly Maintenances (Wednesdays in Europe) are posted on the BattleNet app., in-game, and on the support site.
As for maintenances that are done during the week (usually because we’re trying to fix something important, which can’t wait until the next Wednesday), these are posted a few hours before they happen, on the BattleNet app. A last minute warning is pushed in-game to warn players to log off, 15 minutes the servers go down.
This is how the Breaking News looked like this morning:
