Servers down, for how long?

So, is there any chance we can play the game what we pay for? There are no running servers since the latest shutdown (which was going to be 1 hour, now we are in the 3rd hour)

Emergency maintenance is emergency maintenance, these things are unexpected but needed as there must have been some serious issues for them to shut the game servers down. Just have a nap

Until it is done.

Would like to have a timeframe also. Have tried to get into Diablo bore again, but nah, me no likey.

This is Emergency maintenance, there is NO ETA because they clearly don’t know how long it’s going to take to fix the current issues.

I think they found something fun in the game and the emergency FUN DETECTED alarm went off.

Wonder what that was…

Yeah, i always forget what a small company blizzard is. Those 3 people are working very hard to solve the problem i guess… Too bad i took a day off work to “play” the new patch

Bro, that is literally your fault.

Since what feels like EONS, we have the saying of “Never play on patch day.”

I am pretty sure WoW invented this even.

Sorry i am used to the fact, that if i pay for something, it usually works

Find me any company that got psychics and can see into the future and find all the bugs and glitches that’ll spawn when the patch is brought onto live games.

Imagine a world where there would be beta test servers with months of testing time and with free testers from the community while testers in most cases would get paid anyway so they get that without a cost. Oh wait …we do live in that reality.

With 20 years of experience and the amount of money we pay for the game and the sub + many player for tokens and pets and mounts and cosmetics too we can say it is unacceptable that such errors can and do happen in WoW.
Yes this is nothing new but that doesnt make it right at all so dont try to normalize this behaviour from a dev team.

I could find you a couple companies that actually care about the playerbase and keep them informed every hour or so when unexpected things happen, and they aren’t even billionaire companies like Blizz.

Oh, and the games are F2P

I would never imagine simping for blizz is still a thing. How naive am i…

  1. this should not happen, theres a test server
  2. there should be more info by now
  3. people should get free time

Some people, me included have very limited time to play, usually wednesday. For me, its not one day off but one week off. Sod off defending this lack of cominication.

It’s not about money but principals.

Also ppl dont care much about the 40 cents but their time. If someone is paying for something and they plan to spend their time on a game when it should be up and running and its not that the issue here.

If you go to a restaurant and you have to wait 3 hours for your meal you are not upset because of the price or the environment …you are upset because they are wasting your time which is a limited resource for everyone living on this planet

But hey keep defending Bobby boy who doesnt care about you on his Yacth while having a dev team that fails to deliver but happy to take billions from the playerbase! ^-^
