Does it matter on eich server I play in 2025?
Reason is I have an very very old twink on my original server where I started 20 years ago.
I would like to revive said character but I am not gonna throw money at blizz to transfer servers
You can join any guild on either faction on any realm. So no you donāt need to move.
The warbank also allows you to transfer a lot of things between characters.
At this point they should just make one big mega server like in the elder scrolls online and remove all the separate realms since they have been working so hard removing all the restrictions
Separate realms help with duplicate character names though. If you have a name you really want to use and its taken, just create the character on a dead realm and boom you can now be Gandalf.
Why be gandalf when you can be amonet

You better start making a bunch of level 1 in every server. Cause im taking that nameā¦

The only thing that matters is that you have dedicated servers for you native language/country.
I donāt have even thatā¦ we are forced to play on the English servers
Well its a blessing in disguise, se n mine everytime i tried to make a new char āname is unaviableā and i hate using accent or other tipes of letters.
To add salt is usually a character that has not even reached level 20 when I check on the armory.
Actually at the moment it kind of helps if you play on low pop realm.
Big servers tend to have a good amount of lag and problems on patch days and during surges of players.
On the other hand, you currently do not lose anything, and you will have less server problems.
Not really feasible due to the infrastructure. If you created the game form scratch, they might have made it work, but as it is now, itās impossible with how many players we have.

PvE not reallyā¦ War Mode it absolutely does matter as itās tied to connected realms, or lack of, depending on your realm ā if you find yourself outnumbered 10:1 have fun as thatāll permanently be the state of your default shard.
Is there a way to look that up?
Iād rather not have RP servers not get completely mashed into the rest.
