so far pandas dont have an allied race counter part. as a neutral race itd make sense for the allied race to also be neutral, so the closest thing i could come up with in the current expansion were the snek folk.
im not a lore fanatic so this next part might not be 100% true, but pretty sure that the snek people like both horde & alliance. i mean from all of the quests ive completed they dont have a reason to hate either of them yet.
i know the helmets would be an issue, but as the mechagnomes have shown with their glove, shoe & pants transmogs are that blizzard could just make the head transmog invisible on all helmets permanently.
i mean who would wanna cover up that hood anyway?
Edit:
managed to find kinda interesting article from wowhead on the subject.

I fear we might get tortollan as the next allied race. Not looking forward to that at all. I’d much rather have the Sethrak. I’m craving for a scaly allied race, be it the saurok or the Sehtrak or even Naga. It could very well be the Naga aswell, with Azshara joining our side, atleast temporarily. With blizz dodging races/allied races that aren’t easily implementable gear wise, we’ll probably never see these races being added to the roster.
rly doubt we will be getting tortollan, i mean they strike me as the “you darn kids get off my property” rather than “im going to slay n’zoth & save the world”.
a generic shopkeeper kinda race, dont think they even have real soldiers

I mean they could probably come up with something. Like we’ve been helping their young ones get to the water, maybe they get raised up on the Dragon Isles and we’ll find their kin there, young and ready to slay monsters. So far, we don’t have allied races for Undead and Worgen, if they go with the themes of each race, for undead it’d have to be undead as a trait and for Worgen it’s probably transforming/living with a curse. I see something like Lightforged Undead and Naga, if Azshara joins our side for a tad longer she might find a way to transform her and her people back to elf form and maybe being able to switch from elf to naga form. Since the naga form is N’zoth’s gift, I wonder if she’ll turn back to normal the moment he gets killed. Would be another elven race that would crave the powers they once had/ power supply they once had.
Sounds great. I would love them even more if they could be Druids. I mean really any Horde race that is not a cow or a troll that can be a Druid would be great. My hope was on the Vulpera, but #NeverLucky.

I doubt that. They look too clumsy and stocky to be able to design the combat graphic onto their model

But Sethrak snake people are so cool!
They love electricity, they are like zappy boys from Star Wars.
Also their running animation and tail are so cool. The tongue snake thingy they do hissss , and their temple is just amazing. I always was looking forward for M+ TOS because I get to see that head light in blue glow of electricity with bassy bzzzttt ZAPPP sound and glow for a second.
Considering that Vulpera are not really fond of Sethrak , I don’t think it will happen, but if they’d make it to Alliance , I would re roll in an instant
They are cool.
Please Blizzard , pretty please.

Doubtful.
The horde helped them overthrow an illegitimate separatist government and restored their captured loa.
What did the alliance do?

They do look cool but hinestly I don’t think they would be so popular with the common player base. I mean look at what people play: elves elves and elves.
People want good looking characters because somehow they identify with them. Most of the people don’t want to be seen as reptiles
The Alliance saved their leader’s life in the story-line quests. I remember my Alliance guy had to do a whole lot more of stuff with the Sethrak than the Horde guy. They are actually more Alliance friendly Horde friendly I think.
alliance do a questchain with them to set a foothold on voldun.
15 minutes content at most.
if the horde has even less than that i donìt see how they would become allied to any of the factions.
I seem to remember the Alliance also have Sethrak vendors available inside the temple that the Horde does not.
I’m not a big fan of neutral factions. I prefer clear cut races for each.
The Sethrak, however, are awesome.
Save their leader from dying of venom, repel attacks from their place of worship and help them recover one of the three keystones. (Which the Horde let get robbed).
While I really like the Sethrak, I can’t see them being playable ever unfortunantly
Fingers crossed though.
There is one set of Allied races left. Worgen and Forsaken.
Sethrak use the female Worgen skeleton, while Saberon and Saurok use the male Worgen skeleton.
A lot of beastial races use the Worgen rig.
As for undead, chances are you’re just going to be stuck with lightforged undead. Enjoy.
I think they kinda relate to Pandaren in that they journey to places and tell stories.
All posts I see from you are dedicated to outrage at people’s liking for Elves, it’s tiring.

How do you find any counterpart to something being neutral?
I think you wanted Sethrak being neutral along with Pandas right? I don’t see why not.
yes i want them to be playable but i dont rly mind if their not neutral.
my thought process was that all of the allied races so far have a counter part which got me to thinking what would be good one for pandas.
sethrak were the closest i could come up with, but then again blizzard hasnt given out any info on whether all of the races would have an allied race counter part or not.
