So I was thinking that it would be great to randomize what I had on!
I could keep lots of different outfits, ten even? I don’t know how many I can get but I have six slots now but I have only filled four.
The thing says that if conditions are equal for the slots, they will be randomized between.
And that’s what got me thinking it’d be great, right.
I started doing this by having one outfit for town and one for adventure, which worked great.
But then I tried this, to randomize between several outfits regardless where I went. So I set all conditions equal and everywhere for all outfit slots.
First I tried the “All locations” option, but it didn’t work. It was always the same outfit, the one I had put on last. So then I tried checking all the location boxes for all outfits, with the same result: No changes.
And now I’m here asking if there’s something I’m doing wrong or if this is bugged, or what is going on?
Edit: This too, since I’m asking: How do I change transmog?? Idk how. It’s stuck now.
Edit 2: I found that I can change outfits by… wait.. wtf… Now it changes!! idk what triggered it though, I have not switched area!
uhh, anyway… I managed to change the appearance by right-clicking the outfit slot symbol, which locks that outfit regardless of locations; then it also changes to that outfit.
So then I had my outfit on, one of them, and was looking at the Naigtal heroic world portal platform, writing this message, and then it changed to another!
no clue why it changed.
This thing seem quite erratic to me. How it works?
Edit 3: So when I click an outfit like that, click on the symbol of the outfit to lock it in and then right-click it again to stop locking it in, after doing that and leaving the transmogrifier it then locks in a random outfit and perpetuates it. So it doesn’t matter if I switch area or restart the game, I’m locked into the random outfit permanently.
I think this feature need work. Cause it seems a great idea that I could have several outfits and that I would wear one of them randomly.
Edit 4: I solved it by putting one outfit as my town outfit, selecting all such areas for it. I don’t know if it is possible to have several such outfits, possibly. I don’t see the reason why it wouldn’t work. So then it switches to the town outfit when I go there, and by going outside it will switch to and perpetuate another until I go back to town when it will switch back. And this other outfit will randomize between all “combat” outfits that I have.
This works fairly well. What I had hoped was that it would switch every other place I went to, but zoning in here and there would make it so that I would switch many times in short successions and I suppose that’s why it doesn’t do that.
